A wonderful place to stay in Taos.
Pros:

Janell was wonderful for checking in a road weary family of travelers.
She helped us with recommendations for a wonderful dinner

Cons:

A very minor detail. One of our rooms has a damaged door stop in the wall.

it served our purpose to visit Taos and the area.
Pros:

the front staff checking me in was very helpful with information about where to go and what to do. The area was safe to walk my dogs.

Cons:

Taos has a lot of litter everywhere. The hotel property was clean but just outside of that was litter everywhere. There were some very noisy and inconsiderate quests at the hotel. This is not the fault of the hotel though.

The battle of the shower
Pros:

Clean n organized 👌

Cons:

Shower wasn't working properly the know was loose and you had to press into it to get it to turn hot.

Room was clean and comfortable but front staff weren’t very helpful and didn’t communicate with me

I didn’t get to try the breakfast

Cons:

I had booked and paid for this stay in January of 2025 through booking.com. Upon my arrival the front desk informed me that their system is showing that my room is paid in full but that payment from booking.com to the hotel wasn’t completed. I was told I will be given my room key and they would sort it out. They asked for my credit card and was told it was for incidentals. Upon checking out I noticed I was charged full price for the stay again on my credit card. I called the front desk and was told they couldn’t get in touch with booking.com to get payment so in order to close my bill I was charged for the stay. I was told to contact booking.com to resolve the issue myself. I didn’t think this was right….now I’m out an additional $200 and will be inconvenienced to resolve the issue myself. Not cool!
