Cons:

I was unexpectedly charged $150 by Booking.com. The hotel didn't want to charge me those extra fees. I understand a refundable security deposit for damages, but this was different.

If you book through Booking.com—or any third-party site—ask about all fees at check-in before handing over your card. Don't assume the advertised price is the final amount. Always verify every charge before you pay.

A short stay in an outdated, slummy motel, which almost ruined out vacation

The building is outdated. The sprinkler system went off randomly and flooded the lobby. We get to our floor which reeks of marijuana and our room, while clean enough, was extremely outdated. Water stains on the ceiling rusted air vents and amenities. We stayed one night and left. Thankfully a friends parents let us stay with them for the remainder of our trip

Will stay here again next time I’m in Myrtle beach!
Pros:

This location is a very convenient location walking distance to the beach. It’s not right on the beach, but it’s a couple minutes or so walk across the street. Hotel room was clean, fully stocked with toiletries and towels, and beds were comfortable and clean. AC cooled the room down quickly and is not loud.

Nice place. I would stay here again.
Pros:

If you don't mind being off the strand, it's a good location. Not too far from the beach. There are paid parking areas for access to the beach not too far away.

Cons:

There were a few items left in the room from previous guest- Sippy cup and an earring on the dresser.

Great location and love the outdoor pool

The room was comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved the outdoor pool and the location is phenomenal!

Cons:

There were pet stains in the hallway, but there is new management so hopefully they’ll take care of that because when we were there they were Painting and doing so updating. The breakfast isn’t great. Several mornings there was no yogurt.
