Horrible
Pros:

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The first room we were given was in poor condition, and we had to request a switch.
There were also communication issues, as some staff members were unable to speak English, which made it difficult to get assistance when needed. Additionally, it was concerning to see staff bringing their children to work and having them in guest and kitchen areas.
What was most troubling was during breakfast—one staff member handled food with bare hands and walked through the serving line without regard for guests. The children were also present in the kitchen area, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and safety.
Overall, the experience lacked professionalism and basic hospitality standards. I hope management addresses these issues.

Never again
Pros:

during our one night stay we had to move to three rooms
room 1 plumbing leak
room 2 heat and air unit making so much noise that sleep was impossible - no way to turn the unit off
room 3 heat and air unit that was not working after the front desk person assured us that the room was in good order
the positives were that the satff was very nice - the rooms were clean and the brealfast was OK

i have stayed at this location multilpe times over the many years and have never had a problem except for the facilty showing some age and needing some TLC

and they did not even mention no charge for the room due to the issues
this used to be a standard Hilton policy

We got there early to watch Texas Tech football but used our cell phones to listen to the game.
Tv not available.

The USB charging ports in the bed nightstand would not hold our cables making phone charging difficult.

Seems like a lot of little items that have been deferred maintenance.

Price of the room was high.

Old Food was in the refrigerator..
Elevator was dirty.
Carpet in hall of 2nd floor was dirty.

Hallway HVAC were covered with plastic.

$50 incidental fee was the highest we have been asked to pay.

Pros:

The first room I checked in to the bed was unmade and the toilet was overflowing. I immediately wanted a new clean room. I asked that my bedding be switched and it was not. They just made the bed over sheets that I wanted changed as they looked soiled. The bathtub glaze was peeling and carpet in the halls and elevator was disgustingly dirty.

Friendliest and most helpful staff anywhere!
Pros:

This was a great hotel for my five day stay. I have never experienced as friendly desk staff ever. Every single person on the day shift and night shift had a smile and super friendly. I really enjoyed this trip. It's refreshing to have staff enjoy their job. Eager to help. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was fresh. Everyone takes so much pride and it shows. The only thing I could complain about is the hall carpets and elevator could use a cleaning. I am very happy about staying here and would recommend this location. I travel quite a bit and this is at the very top for friendly and helpful staff!
