Loved how clean the facility was, and the location.
The beds are horribly uncomfortable. They were like sleeping on a concrete slab. The pillows also need upgraded.
I’ll start by saying I don’t leave reviews, but I feel this trip warranted one. Our stay started off ok. The hotel staff was friendly enough. The elevator was a little rickety and had a musty odor but safely got us to the third floor. When we opened the door to our room there was a strong mildew odor and humidity in the air. We cranked the AC down and went to sleep. The next morning we used the workout facility. There was no operating air conditioner, the trim had all been taken off, and the same strong mildew odor was present. Upon returning to our room I pulled up the roller blinds and found mold on both sides and underneath the window. There was obvious water damage along the ceiling and the wallpaper was peeling below it. I went to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room free of mold, but there were no rooms available. They gave us a 10% discount and we checked out, cutting our stay 3 nights short. It’s safe to say I will not be staying at this hotel again.
The a/c would not cool down the room by reducing the humidity levels in the room. I felt sticky and gross. Then the fire alarm went off for some reason other than there being a fire in the hotel.
Everything was great
Access to highways and local conveniences.
The property is very tired looking. Perhaps they are starting some much needed renovations. They desperately need it.
This property was in s good location. The staff was very friendly & helpful.
My room had a terrible odor. I spoke to the front desk, but no other rooms were available. It seemed to be coming from the bathroom. There were even stains on what appeared to be new wallpaper seeping through. It seemed like the whole property was under renovation.
Clean and spacious room. No unusual smells. Thankfull that the staff gave me a first floor room. Breakfast was simple but much needed to start my day. Scrambled eggs, bacon, some pastries, yogurt etc.
There was a rust colored stain at the bathtub drain. I thought it was blood at first but it turned out to be rust. The body wash dispenser pump would not work so I had to use the shampoo.
It was easy access to the Highway.
It desperately needs updating. The staff clean it but you can’t hide the lack of baseboards and showers needs updated.
Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Please do your family a favor and book the Hilton Garden Inn (2833 Conference Dr.) 1 exit down the road instead. Extensive mold in rooms and bathroom, broken HVAC, dog hair and bugs in sheets, and mold in multiple breakfast items.
Customer experience is awful
Location and breakfast.
AC control on the wall didn't work, had to use the controls on the window AC unit. Bath tub faucet did not indicate hot and cold correctly.
location, comfortable beds
Broken faucet in bathroom; breakfast substandard; dirty common areas
I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The first room we were given was in poor condition, and we had to request a switch.
There were also communication issues, as some staff members were unable to speak English, which made it difficult to get assistance when needed. Additionally, it was concerning to see staff bringing their children to work and having them in guest and kitchen areas.
What was most troubling was during breakfast—one staff member handled food with bare hands and walked through the serving line without regard for guests. The children were also present in the kitchen area, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and safety.
Overall, the experience lacked professionalism and basic hospitality standards. I hope management addresses these issues.
