Everything was great

Stanza moderna, molto ampia , pulita , reception 24 ore.
Alfama è il quartiere storico e più antico ma sicuramente altri quartieri sono più vivi e ricchi di servizi.

The location is very good but also a bit far from the city centre.
But with Uber (resemble cheap), it was perfect.

Really good sized one bed apartment, decent quality bathrooms, great price in this area. Right on the 28E tram route - which is both a blessing & a curse! Convenient, but my apartment was on the ground floor on the roadside, so it clattered past on a regular basis. ATM, mini market & cafe just a few metres away. A great alternative to a pokey hotel room. The kitchen had a hotplate, microwave, and a v small fridge, enough to make some basic food so you didnt have to eat out if you didnt want to.
When I arrived, in the dark & torrential rain, there was no one on reception to let me in the door. I was fortunate that other guests happened to come out after a few minutes, so I could get in and dry off. The staff member explained she was helping another guest, which is fine, but as a lone traveller one of my biggest worries is turning up to my accommodation & not being able to get in for some reason. I called them and could hear the phone ringing on reception - maybe they could be provided with a mobile phone to keep with them if they have to leave reception?

Lo staff della reception non era accogliente e disponibile, in particolare la persona che ci ha accolto per fare il check non salutava neanche. Non è presente il phon in camera, è da chiedere. Soprattutto con le finestre aperte si sente il tram dalla mattina presto alla notte.
The location of the property was good and a decent walk from the main areas in Lisbon, close to public transport links. The room was a good size and 24hr reception was good. The very was clean and cleaned during my stay, good value for money.
If you’re a light sleeper then the trams going past in the morning could wake you up as they start running around 6am and were very noisy. Also the location is good regarding the distance from other landmarks, however, the streets are very narrow and not much street lighting at night time, so but daunting as a solo traveller.
Excellent location (the iconic 28 Tram stop is RIGHT outside the hotel door...as well as an excellent coffee place next door. The 'room' was really a small apartment!
The ONLY reason I am giving it a little less than full marks is that with a little effort this place could be so much better. For example having a proper double bed mattress on a double bed instead of two single beds stuck together. Also, place needs some proper decor and furniture - a nice wardrobe would be so much better than clothes hangers on the wall. Honestly a couple of trips at a thrift store and this place would be perfect.

Some receptionists a bit miserable/unfriendly on but not all of them.
La posizione è strategica, dinanzi proprio a una delle fermate dello storico tram 28, la stanza era bella grande, luminosa e silenziosa. Ottimo il servizio di pulizia.
la doccia nella vasca non è la cosa migliore dato che per quanta attenzione si possa fare l'acqua cade sempre all'esterno.
