Absolutely sublime place, the views, the staff, the thermal baths, the food in the Silver restaurant were all utterly amazing.
The food in the Red restaurant didn’t meet our expectations for the cost.
A modern architectural gem surrounded by alpine scenery. The minimalist rooms, thermal baths, and peaceful surroundings make it a perfect retreat for relaxation and comfort.
We spent our honeymoon at House of Architects in Vals and it was genuinely one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had.
The highlight, without question, was the thermal baths — especially the night bathing on Friday and Sunday. One moment in particular felt almost unreal: being in the outdoor pool at night, in complete silence, while snow fell around us and the hot water steamed into the cold air. It was surreal, calming, and unforgettable.
We also had a wonderful experience at the Silver restaurant. Everything we ate was thoughtful, refined, and beautifully balanced — but what truly elevated the evening was starting in the kitchen with the chef. That behind-the-scenes welcome made the whole dinner feel more personal and special, and it set the tone for the night.
The staff across the hotel were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel looked after without ever feeling formal.
As for the room: it’s small and minimalist, but that’s part of the charm. The quirky design and architectural character make it feel like you’re staying inside a concept — beautiful, unique, and unlike anywhere else.
Overall, everything felt carefully curated, beautiful, and singular. For a honeymoon, it was the perfect mix of serenity, design, and unforgettable experiences.
A must do for those looking for an unforgettable experience. The therme are incredibly beautiful.
I will definitely return.

Everything was great th the crew the service the cleaning the hotel restaurants and facilities we enjoyed our staying very much
The staff at both the hotel and the thermal spa are extremely professional, kind, and helpful. They are always ready to answer any questions and are very attentive, which makes it even more special to see that they remember you each time you visit.
The thermal bath is truly a place like nowhere else. The different weather conditions during my stay—foggy, rainy, and snowy—made each visit a completely different experience. Every time you enter the spa area feels unique, especially the outdoor pool, which made my stay truly magical and unforgettable.
Considering the experience, the price of the stay (CHF 450 for two people) is absolutely worth it.
I will definitely come back.
Tiny rooms with 0 functionality, very mediocre food and drinks. Therme was great. But definitely not worth 600chf a night.
For design and architecture lovers, spa enthusiasts and foodies, 7132 has it all. A gorgeous spa, excellent service and a village with a thousand years of charm and the newest architectural gems combined. Worth the trip!
We stayed in the hotel for a weekend celebration, and it was an all-time memorable experience. From the place to the service and the experiences they created for us. Everything exceeded our expectations and made it one of my favourite places in the world.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and there are positives worth mentioning. The food quality is very good - you can tell the kitchen takes pride in its work. Unfortunately, this is repeatedly undermined by service issues that are difficult to overlook at this price point.
At breakfast, service was slow and disorganized. Coffee and juice regularly took 20+ minutes to arrive, and our orders were almost never fully correct - items were forgotten or wrong. While the food itself was good, there was no explanation of what was included in the breakfast offering (for example, that only poached and boiled eggs are included). There was no menu outlining alternatives, and waitstaff did not proactively explain options. For a hotel of this caliber, breakfast service felt poorly managed.
We stayed over New Year’s and were asked in advance about food preferences. We clearly communicated that we did not eat seafood, and this was noted by the front desk. However, at the New Year’s dinner, the waitstaff were unaware of this, and we had to repeat ourselves again.
Service at the lobby bar was similarly frustrating. On multiple occasions, we struggled to get anyone’s attention. One evening, after waiting 40 minutes without being approached, I had to go to the bar myself to ask for service. The drinks then took another long wait to arrive, one of them was incorrect, and for the following hour no one checked on us again.
The spa is beautifully designed, but the experience was once again let down by service. On our first visit, no one explained the facilities or showed us around - only that phones were not allowed. Later, when asking for directions to the gym, we were given vague instructions, could not find it, returned to ask again, and were simply given the same instructions without assistance. This lack of guidance felt inconsistent with the hotel’s positioning.
After several days of these issues - and additional long waits just to receive the bill - I decided to shorten our stay by one night. My feedback was passed to management, but the only response was an offer of a glass of champagne, and no refund for the unused night. While I understand this was after checkout, what was most disappointing was that no manager came to speak with us directly or to understand why guests would rather leave early and forfeit a night than continue their stay.
Saying that “the hotel is full” is not an acceptable explanation. Capacity management is the hotel’s responsibility, not the guest’s. At this price level, the service simply does not match what is being charged.
We would have loved to stay longer, alas, weekends are too short! If you go, make sure you book a table at SILVER, what a beautiful experience.
The hotel and the thermas are one of the best places I have been. We were very satisfied, and we strongly recomend.
Quintessentially Swiss alpine luxury at its finest. From the moment you pull up to the formalist architectural entry to the first steps into the suite and the baths it is a five star experience. Made mostly in part by the incredible service offered by the entire team of the hotel. We were kindly greeted at our vehicle and everything was sorted for us. At check in we had a lovely experience and a welcome drink. The spa rooms have incredible bathrooms with steam showers and bathtubs and deep and wide terraces. The bedroom is incredibly quiet as the bedhead wall faces and internal wall within your own suite. The attention to lighting controls, material details and services is five star. As for the spa access its effortless and can be accessed almost anytime during the stay, early morning for a private and quiet experience, and the special nachtbaden is magical. Please note if you go on Friday night although it is advertised as SILENT it is not enforced and its open to ALL hotel guests (meaning the budget friendly 7132 House of Architects) and the guests are very disrespectful and ruin the experience for everyone and talk all night long even when other guests remind them and tell the guards and check in person. The hotel should enforce the quiet policy better on Friday night make the guests sign an agreement acknowledging they are to be 100% quiet unless its an emergency, and fine them for speaking as a first warning and then kick them out of the therme if they repeat the offense and ban them from the hotel. Better to go on Wednesday or Sunday if you want guests to adhere to the rules. Silver breakfast is very well done. Servers at da Papa and at breakfast were exceptional. Really thorough. We felt like we had personal butlers at the hotel the service was so incredible. Huge thank you to Diane/Diana and Lukas for making our stay extra special. They both went above and beyond any expectation and offered us an unforgettable experience at the hotel.
