Terrible Customer Care
Pros:

Upon arriving to the hotel room, I noticed that the TV did not work, when trying to call down to the front desk to advise them.The phone did not work when I went down to the front desk to advise that there was an issue I was told I would have to wait till the shift manager comes in at 11 PM. It was completely unacceptable that the person working the front desk would not even try to understand or resolve the issue.

Pros:

I usually stay at Hampton Inns because they tend to be clean and accommodating. This Hampton Inn was not my best experience. The pool was closed due to chemical imbalance (understandable), but our toilet broke and we had to use the restroom near the pool. I notified them of the broken flush handle and heard nothing back. This was a major inconvenience. On the other hand, staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean.

My overall stay was frustratingly underwhelming.
Pros:

The property is easily accessible from the interstate.

Cons:

The staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. Also, third party booking sites were not notified by the hotel that the pool was closed. When checking in, all managers were off duty and the young man at the counter said, “I’m not even supposed to be here.” We chose this location for accessibility and it had a pool for our children. The pool was closed and the booking site wasn’t notified of that. The manager had to be called on her personal phone and she refused to give any type of guidance of who to contact because she was off duty enjoying time with her grandson and couldn’t help. The bathroom floors were dirty the toilet wasn’t cleaned well.

Cons:

The pool was closed. I would not have stayed at that property had I known it was closed. Very disappointed kids. The washer on the second floor was not working. Guests should not be charged full price without the expected amenities.
