The air conditioner in the room was warmer thsn the temperature on the gsuge
The whole place was great. And it was full, which makes the point. Terrific service, charming decor, surprisingly cheap food, well trimmed gardens. The only negative, for the non-walker, is that the hotel isn't close to a shop/food centre like Manuka. But I must give it a break - it's a bit of lovely 1930's Canberra that Australia must be proud of, and I would most definitely stay there again.
Whave some mark on bedsheet and no top sheet
This Hotel is a grand old dame of the Canberra accomodation landscape. Has never disappointed in all the years of staying there. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and well appointed with a lovely outlook over the rear of the property.
