The hotel is located in a quiet, beautiful area which is so relaxing after noisy time in Yangshou downtown etc. You need to drive a little bit to most of the scenic spots, but it is definetely worth to do so. The rooms are very spacious and modern styled with an amazing view on the surrounding hills. They have a (for China very untypical) nice coffee bar where you get excellent coffee and homemade cake every afternoon. But the best at this place is the owner couple. They are such nice persons and so helpful. I had an accident and had to go to hospital. The owner stayed there with us for more than 3 hours and supported us all the time. Without him it would have been a nightmare. And afterwards they managed all the train rebookings for us. Thanks a lot for your support. I wish you all the best!!

L'emplacement est magique, entouré de montagnes. La chambre et ses grandes baie vitrées donnant sur à nature. Nos hébergeurs et leur accueil chaleureux, les delicieuses pâtisseries de madame qui feraient envie à bien des pâtissiers en France.

Tout, la belle chambre avec une très belle vue, le couple de propriétaire extrêmement gentil, la piscine très agréable sans oublier les gâteaux que nous avons dégustés tous les jours fait par la propriétaire qui est pâtissière. Excellent séjour.

Le petit couple qui tient cet hôtel est tout simplement adorable. Ils ont su faire de notre séjour chez eux un vrai moment de détente et de découverte.

Ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa! Immerso nella natura con vista top da tutte le camere, proprietari e staff gentilissimi, parlano bene inglese e disponibili ad aiutarti in ogni modo (ci hanno accompagnato personalmente dal medico del villaggio alle 9.30 di sera!). Apprezzatissima la colazione sempre varia, curata e deliziosa, e la merenda ogni giorno in omaggio con torte ricercate fatte dalla proprietaria e drink. Bel clima anche con gli altri ospiti negli spazi comuni e con i gattini e il cane dei proprietari! Camera super spaziosa, con tutto il necessario e grande attenzione ai dettagli. Super consigliato e grazie ancora di tutto!

the location is absolutely amazing, hidden in nature and away from the massive tourism. the team also made the stay very relaxing - its a gem

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Serene Cove. The rooms and the premise are beautiful and offer a perfect view on Guilin scenic mountains. The owners who run the place are incredibly heartwarming and caring for their guests, they made sure that our stay would be as fun and special as possible. Their food from breakfast to dinner including afternoon cake is made with love and you can truly taste it.

This place felt like home we were so sad to leave, it will always have a special place in our hearts. We can’t way to go back next time we travel to China, and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I had the most fantastic stay in Serene Cove - I was incredibly sad to leave - the place is super beautiful, the food is delicious, the couple who own the place are very friendly, helpful, lent me a bike, made amazing cakes, helped me learn Chinese and I would have loved to stay longer.
