The management was welcoming me as a walk-in guest. They quoted me a price for a room for two nights - approx. $7k CAD. I agreed and paid the fee with a $1k extra for incidentals. To my surprise, management asked me if I needed help with my bags in the morning as I was checking out. I told them that the reservation was for two nights, not just one night and that this was agreed the night before. Then the next morning I received a bill for $15k. I told the morning manager that the rate was for two nights, not one, but they were not accommodating. I am not happy with this at all. I think the night manager should be fired for misrepresenting their fee on reservation. I would prefer that Park Hyatt Toronto do not employ this strategy to ring out another room charge. Furthermore, my phone was stolen while I was using the room - while traveling from the room to the gym, then back to the room. This was a few thousand lost (phone replacement fee), and to my understanding, had nothing to do with the manager on duty. However, the combination of getting my phone stolen and being over-charged by $7k did not not feel good. I will not be going back there or encouraging anyone to visit the Park Hyatt Toronto until they address this. I went there as an excited potential customer...I had great experiences at Park Hyatt in Zurich and I was looking forward to getting a few nights of good sleep in Toronto. When my phone went missing on the second night, I attempted to file a police report. Management gave me a number to the police. I called them from the room phone and the police department asked me to submit online. However, I didn't have a phone to file online and management didn't have a computer for me to use to file the report. The hotel assured me that they checked the cameras and would do a full investigation to help locate the phone. I invited them to check the audio, but they told me that there isn't audio recording. The phone was not found. The hotel would not give me access to their internal report. I paid with a debit card because I do not carry a credit card. I cannot dispute this with a bank or a credit card company. It seems like the hotel thought I was trying to get a second night for free, when I was not at all. I was just double-charged and then my phone went missing. The only item of mine that went missing was the phone. My wallet and other items did not go missing (thankfully). I invited the security manager to the unit to help me look for the phone and he did. The manager on duty who sold me the room did not follow up with me. I am discouraged.
The breakfast way delicious, especially the sour dough pancakes! Love the spa. Very tranquil and my treatment (massage) was amazing! The complimentary car service was helpful too but you had to be quick to book it.
The return of our incidentals hold on our credit card could’ve been returned faster.
Really nice stay. Renovation of hotel is beautiful. Staff excellent and attentive. Food and beverage service top notch.
Great suite, great breakfast, fun filled rooftop bar with spectacular view, very pleasant staff, best hotel in Toronto!
Located on the corner of Avenue Road and Bloor Street, in the heart of one of the nicest shopping areas of Toronto, this refurbished building provides and excellent place from which to visit downtown Toronto. Yorkville is just a coupe of blocks East from the hotel, and the Royal Ontario Museum (one of Toronto's treasures) is just across the street. Service at all levels was very good, and our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent, the bathroom modern and functional; there was good lighting through our suite and very good amenities, including an espresso coffee maker. The restaurant on the ground floor was pleasant, spacious, with very good food, cocktails and service. The bar on the 17th floor offers excellent views of Toronto's skyline and a selection of delightful cocktails and snacks.
Vanessa the Concierge was born for her role within the hotel family. She is gorgeous and gracious. Michael was an exceptional and reliable driver.
As a VIP member of expedia group. I rarley post reviews. The hotel is over rated with customer service. My credit card has unauthorized charges without my consent and I will be moving forward legally in regard to this matter. Staff cant get away with this.
I had an amazing stay at Park Hyatt Toronto. The hotel is right in the heart of Yorkville, with the best shopping, bars, and restaurants just a short walk away. My suite was perfect! I loved the layout and the understated, residential feel. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the bathroom was huge.
I stayed for a full week, and every single staff member I met was warm, genuine, and on point with service. They really made the experience feel special.
A big THANK YOU to Park Hyatt Toronto for a fantastic stay. I can't wait to come back!
Great experience overall. Family of 4 (childrens ages 8 and 12). The service was excellent. Rooms were very clean and lots of attention to detail. The biggest negative was after coming home and receiving the bill. We were a guest of honor and they told us at check in that breakfast was included every morning - 4 entrees, 4 hot drinks, and 4 cold beverages. I even asked if 2 had to be kids breakfasts (bc my 12 year old eats more than most adults do) and they said no. It could be any 4 breakfast entrees. When I saw the bill after getting home, there were charges for every morning. I called Hyatt and they told me the hotel put a daily cap (around $130). Normally it’s not a big deal but it’s an upscale restaurant. Entrees run $30-$45 and kids apple juice is $10. Not knowing we had a cap, we all ordered juices and adults had lattes every morning on top of our main dish. Very disappointed that we were given false information.
Amidst November’s cooler breeze, the hotel is in the middle of everything, it was so convenient to navigate. The staff were amazing, the decor especially at the StillWater Spa are very serene, loved the natural color scheme. Breakfast menu was not limited but food was carefully curated and taste is a definite must try. The Writer’s Lounge seafood was so fresh! Our daughter’s enjoyed her 20th celebration here, thank you Park Hyatt.
Park Hyatt Toronto never disappoints. The property is beautiful, the staff are incredible. I cannot rave about it enough. Special thanks to Alicia and Natalia for making the experience a memorable one. I will be back here again and tell others to come.

Price -a little high
