Everything was perfect!
Amazing way to experience Sturgis for the first time. The hotel was an exceptional makeover of an historical building, which incorporated industrial modern-day revamps such as lofts with wood and metal staircases. Solid bones. Great coffee and pastry shop onsite with Gluten-free options. Pleasing sitting areas and a dining menu from a venue across the street, which had great food to pick up and come back to the hotel to enjoy. Or, to sit on a bench outside and watch the main street passers-by. The only thing that disappointed me was the lukewarm showering.
Nice location in the middle of Sturgis. Hotel was unique and good coffee shop.
The hotel is very loud!! Water running from other rooms, toilets flushings, conversations, walking around, you can hear everything all night. We didn't get any sleep. Poor lighting in the rooms and no windows.

We stayed at the Hotel Sturgis for one night on our way to see the sights and monuments in the Black Hills. It was a good choice. The historical building, the history, and the way it was remodeled makes it unique. The room we had (#5) had a queen bed on the main level and two twins in the loft. The main area wasn't large, but the high ceiling and loft made it seem roomy. Everything was clean and the room and bathroom were well appointed. Except that there was no place to hang clothes! The stairs up to the loft had metal bars between each step that could have been used to hang clothes beneath the staircase if hangers were provided. Last point: breakfast was not included. They do have a nice coffee shop in the lobby with good scones and a few other items.
Loved the rooms. Such a cool, modern style. Plus a coffee shop below it was adorable.
Didn’t like that our room was not ready until 5pm. We were told at the front desk we could go in, and when we did the cleaning staff yelled at us that they were not done and needed to get out.
It was a unique property and the room was unique. The room was huge and had a stairs and loft it was super cool! The location was exceptional right on Main Street and several bars/restaurants were in walking distance
No continental breakfast, but honestly we found an excellent place called Uncle Louis just down the road so no big deal
