Beautiful and convenient area
Pros:

We stayed during the 2026 Gion Matsuri and it was amazing to be able to experience it in about a 10 minute walking distance. The buildings and streets in the area are also some of the prettiest I've seen in Japan. The stay was on the cheaper side, but it had all the necessities for a hotel stay while being clean. Staff also helped us with luggage delivery to the next hotel making our experience very convenient.

Cons:

The room could be bigger and I wish the bathroom doors were a little thicker/soundproof. There is also only 1 laundry machine which I found was always in use at night. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent for the price.

Soggiorno meraviglioso a Kyoto, torneremo sicuramente!
Pros:

Struttura fantastica, pulitissima e curata nei minimi dettagli. Posizione ottima nel cuore di Kyoto, vicina ai mezzi e ai quartieri principali. Lo staff è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile per ogni richiesta. Camera accogliente, confortevole e silenziosa. Un soggiorno impeccabile!

Pros:

Belles chambres au coeur de Gion. La rue est tres calme.
L hotel est a 10 min a pied du Nishiki market et du passage avec toutes les boutiques et attractions. 5 min a pied du metro
Le personnel est tres serviable et professionel.
L equipement est neuf.
Il y a une fontaine d eau, un micro onde, un lave linge, un seche linge accessible a tous.

Cons:

Le lave linge / seche linge fonctionne bien mais nos habits ne sont pas ressortis propres. Y avait t il assez de detergeant disponible, la temperature de lavage etait elle trop basse... ? Nous n'avons pris le temps de demander au staff qui etait deja tres serviable. Nous nous sommes juste contenter de relaver nos affaires dans un autre endroit

Pros:

A small and intimate hotel with a lovely staff. The location is great, quiet, a minute from the river, and a short distance from the park and the center.

Cons:

There is no closet, which is very difficult when staying for several days. There is no reading light.

Good value, great location but small and outdated
Pros:

The location is ideal! Close to both sides of town and many restaurants and a train station. Close to a very picturesque street too.
The room was small but clean. Shower had great pressure

Cons:

You could hear people walking above you in another room. It needs updated. It was small and less amenities compared to the Traveltine room we had which was the same price.

Buena ubicación pero nada más
Pros:

Buena ubicación cerca del metro pero al mismo tiempo en el sector más cultural donde pueden verse las geishas y diversas actividades culturales.

Cons:

Habitación pequeña y el hotel no tiene ningun amenitie en particular, por lo que siento que cualquier hotel de negocios hubiera hecho el mismo trabajo, con la cantidad de cultura y actividades cercana y la apariencia esperaba algo más.

A lovely hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

This is a very good location within easy walking distance to the main sights and shopping. The staff were lovely and the bed was very comfortable.

Quiet, very pretty and good location.
Pros:

Amazing location, super pretty hotel, very quite and the staff could not be friendlier! They are all very nice.

Cons:

The washing machine and dryer isn't the best, but honestly I had a hard time finding good ones near here anyway, most had wash/dry in one machine which is hard if you have items that can't go in tumble dryer. The rooms are nice but not super big, but it's not a big deal.
