Pros:

Wir waren vier Tage in der Wilderness Lodge und es war wirklich klasse. Die Umgebung so nah an der Russischen Grenze hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich irgendwo im Nirgendwo aber wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer, das Frühstück war das Beste während unserer 3,5 Wochen Finnland und wir haben die Möglichkeit, täglich in die Sauna zu gehen,sehr genossen. Die Erfahrung der Rauchsauna war neu und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die beiden Besitzerinnen haben jeden Abend für die Gäste (es waren nie mehr als vier oder fünf) gekocht und das war Küche auf sehr hohem Niveau. Außerdem hatten wir dort die ersten Nordlichter unseres Urlaubs, was uns sehr begeisterte. Wer die Einsamkeit und Ursprünglichkeit mag wird sich dort wohlfühlen.

En oförglömlig vistelse
Pros:

Vi startade med två timmar i rökbastu och bad i sjön, en upplevelse som är verkligen rofylld. Middagen med lokala råvaror var utsökt, gott och estetiskt,morotskaviaren ska vi försöka få till hemma, kan bli svårt att lyckas. Natten i den totala tystnaden var härlig och frukostenhelt fantastisk. Vi gör nog om det framöver.

Pros:

Die Lodge selbst und die Umgebung sind unglaublich schön. Ich kenne keinen ruhigeren Ort als dort. Die Gastgeber kümmern sich rührend um einen und versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen, die Sauna wird auf Wunsch angestellt und wir hatten sie privat für uns. Die Gastgeber bieten verschiedene Aktivitäten an, von denen wir jedoch keine genutzt haben.

長屋の部屋に宿泊しました。清潔でWi-Fiも早いく、ご飯も美味しい。静かなのが非常に良かった。夜は満点の星々とオーロラが見えて幸せでした。トイレにウォッシュレットが欲しい。

Pros:

We got upgraded as we were the only tourists at that time of the year, which was very nice. The cottage was very comfy and clean.
Views are amazing and the location is very quiet.
The owner is adorable.

Cons:

The sauna was not working perfectly well as it was getting cold very quickly without pouring water - did not really bother us.

A great place to spend several days or more!
Pros:

Room, food, helpfulness, view, quiet, sauna and lake. All superb. The hosts are wonderful.

Fantastic and unique place to visit!
Pros:

Unique location, beautiful nature and wonderful hospitality! Katja and Sirpa and their team were fantastic and took great care of us! Fantastic and authentic homemade food! Must try the smoke sauna, it was exceptional. We loved the snowshoeing activity and the snowmobile trip. Really a wonderful place to visit! Also, we were super lucky and experienced an incredible Aurora Borealis show!

Cons:

Not seeing any bears because they are hibernating.
