Clean rooms
Pros:

Clean

Cons:

Breakfast was not available at the time that was stated and we had to leave hungry. Their response ‘cook went in ditch, good ole Mother Nature at her finest’. There was no back up onsite and we were depending on that breakfast before our daughter’s gymnastics competition but instead had to leave hungry.

Stay was mediocre.
Pros:

Did not partake of the breakfast. Location was very good

Cons:

The window had a major crack which was concerning. The tub was slippery.

Well the bartender paid for my dinner because I was a veteran and she said she had much respect for military personnel and the fact that I missed my free meals at the restaurants on Veterans day she said she would pay for my dinner that not and I thought that was very nice of her

A decent place to rest your head
Pros:

The rooms were spacious, beds were comfy, staff was friendly, pool was clean.

Cons:

Overpriced for the quality of our room, they didn’t have breakfast included with the stay which I felt mislead on for how it was portrayed. They had a cafe where I could buy food but $200 for a room you’d expect at least some cereal and milk for free in the morning as most hotels offer that for free. The room was not cleaned. Carpet was dirty, bathroom floor was dirty and dusty, toilet seat was broken. The chair they had in the room looked like it had mold spots. No freezer was inconvenient.

This is our second time staying when we visit from Texas. It’s always a pleasant stay and the breakfast is wonderful! We will be back again I’m sure :)

Rather far from Muskegon (our work site), cook showed up 15 minutes late the day we were there.

Pros:

The overall experience was great! The only disappointing feedback I have would be the evening dinner and bar and staff experience. We had a late Friday night and didn’t arrive back to the hotel til 9:30pm with intention to eat and have a few drinks. We were denied your food service due to shutting the kitchen down early. The morning breakfast service was beyond excellent and the blonde lady working was awesome! She went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. The outdoor seating was nice for unwinding for the night.

Lady running the dinner Friday night, 8/22/25 was a little on the rood side when we tried to order from the grill that was already shut down at 8:45pm.
