Reliable place for an overnight or weekend stay in Marietta
Pros:

Another restful night at the Marietta Microtel. Our son attends Marietta College, and this has been where we have stayed for multiple visits over the past several years. Clean, spacious rooms with good lighting and lots of mirrors. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds. Great selection of basic breakfast staples. Price is lower than most other options in town, and the facilities are consistently nicer than those of the competitors with lower prices.

Cons:

Pillows are not comfortable. Either too hard or too soft. True across all my visits here. Everything else was great.

We had trouble with TV. TOOK remote to desk. They changed batteries. Still didn't work. Replaced remote. Never worked either. Could only turn TV on/ off. Reported to desk.

The room was very well cleaned and comfortable, and the price was excellent!
Pros:

Breakfast just fair, but the coffee was good.

Cons:

This is a refurbished hotel, and very thoughtfully planned. But my room had some cracks in the paint and drywall and grout needed a redo in the bathroom. Also, the contrasting bed throw had a noticeable stain and should be replaced. Overall, the room was VERY clean, comfortable and quiet. I will stay here again.

Great stop over
Pros:

Great place to stay. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. The hotel is a bit dated, but don't let that put you off. It's a safe place with all the necessities for a quick stop over. There are numerous places to eat just up the road, as well as within walking distance. The location is right off 77, so getting on and off the highway is very easy. The price is phenomenal, and the place is quite clean. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.
