Habitación super limpia y confortable
The hotel offered me a transfer from the airport in Tulum. I was asked to pay in cash for a round trip in advance. Upon my return, my flight was canceled, and I had to travel on my own to another city. The hotel staff assured me that they would refund the money for the unused transfer to Tulum airport. Since they didn’t have cash, I was told I would receive a bank transfer instead.
It has now been a month, and I haven’t received the refund. Despite several reminders, the only response I’ve received is that they are unable to arrange it—which is hard to believe, considering that thousands of money transfers take place worldwide every minute.
I understand that this service was provided by an external company, but since the hotel took responsibility for processing the refund (and has failed to do so), I consider this fraudulent.
Rooftop breakfast was excellent! Rooftop bamboo roof, decor etc. very nice. The pool and garden area are very pretty. Overall, the building is aesthetically pleasing.
The room was much smaller than I anticipated. The pipes in the bathroom are clearly ancient. The sink gave off a foul odor/stench whenever pipes were turned on.
We had a very pleasant stay with Muyu Hotel. Rooms were very clean and well equiped. The location was fantastic so we could reach all the Tulum spots easily

The water pressure was not as good as expected.
The location is great. Rooms are neat. Breakfast is good.
However, some basic amenities are missing, e.g., a cupboard or a hairdryer. Our shower wasn't functioning properly. The washbasin tap was extremely rusty. Internet connection was terrible, not recommended for a workation. Overall, the stay was just okay. We expected it to be a bit better considering the price range.
Location was perfect. Close to absolutely everything and very easy to find.
Really good value for money, especially since you get a basic breakfast (toast, fruit and coffee) for breakfast.
The beds/cushions were really hard and uncomfortable for me so I had really bad sleep for the days I stayed there. Room had no windows that could be open, so no fresh air coming in.
In the bathroom at reception (which by the way was spotless clean) the toilet seat was against the wall during our stay. This to me is a no-no as it s something easy to fix quickly.

Has a good parking for the car.
It is near main road. It is very noise. There was no hot water in the shower.
The location was great very central, easy to find with no worries about safety walking in the dark as a solo female. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed comfortable

The staff was extremely nice. The hotel was located one block from the Main Street and within walking distance of many restaurants. They offer a very good and plentiful breakfast. Our room had a small balcony. Parking is front of hotel or side street (not secured).
The shower flow was very poor and no hot water (except one evening for one shower). Very small and basic room. No chair in the room.
On the positive side, the location is excellent—close to everything you need—and the staff was helpful, even assisting us with parking our bikes.
There was a lot of noise from construction and a club across the street, which could be disruptive. The breakfast was quite basic, just toast and jam, and you had to pay extra for eggs. Additionally, the room wasn’t cleaned unless you hung a sign on the door, which wasn’t clearly communicated, and the ceiling light kept flickering.

Our room was besides the pool, so the the notice every morning and afternoon was horrible.
The breakfast that booking includes in the rate it’s just coffee and bread. You had to pay more to get eggs or pancakes.
Lovely stay in Muyu for an overnight trip to Tulum. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was great too!
Tap could be replaced as fairly rusty, and a little soap in the shower would be great, but honestly a great stay on a budget! :)
