The apartment was lovely. Comfortable beds and a lovely spacious lounge/dining room. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus. I'll be back again.

Disappointed with cleanliness and lift operation. Suggest the room has a full and thorough clean!!!!

Location was great - very short walk to St Vincents hospital
Check in was easy and gentleman very helpful.
Car parking was easy and easily accessible.

Cons:

Cleanliness was NOT up to hotel standard.
We had to rewash all cutlery and crockery as they were dirty.
Stains on curtains and furniture and carpet and fridge had sticky residue on shelves.
Balcony had no furniture so had to use inside chairs to sit on which were mouldy.
Few condiments were in a bowl that was filthy and looked like it hadn't been looked at for months.
We were stuck in the lift twice over a weekend when no one was at reception as the doors didn't open. When advising reception, the manager (??) advised he was aware of the issue. If he was aware of this, why has it not been fixed?

Perfect to stay so close to St.V’s hospital..

Great value for money , very close to St.V’s Hospital ,
Excellent eateries close by. Trams right out the front. Great car parking , comfortable beds 👍 clean ..
Room was perfect for us , would 100% stay again if needed

Cons:

Nothing that would stop us staying again to be fair but worth a mention … No fly screens on the window ,
Small fridge that clearly needed defrosting .. thick ice build-up filling 1/2 of freezer space … missing bottom shelf in fridge … nothing too much as mentioned .
Again, felt worth the $ paid

Fabulous Location - disappointing Property
Pros:

The location of the property is fantastic if you like the North side of the City - which we do. It suited us perfectly for the activities and events we were in Melbourne for.

Cons:

The room was very dirty. The property is definitely dated which we could deal with if it was clean but it wasn't. The window sills and window surrounds were framed with thick dust and cobwebs. The skrim curtains were so dirty I was loathe to pull them across. Shower needed a good bleach and scrub and the outside courtyard our particular room had instead of a balcony was a wasteland. Not a chair or table or plant. Just a big drain in the middle of it. We had planned to use the pool - which looked great in the property profile images, however tiles were cracked and looked liked they also needed a good clean. The TV didn't work regardless of what buttons were pushed on the control. Just came up with No Connection.

We had a two night booking but decided to check out on the second day. The staff were pleasant - came and looked at the room and agreed with every critisism I had, however no compensation was offered.

The property has enormous potential and would have been fabulous at some time in it's history, however it is dated and uncared for now. At $200/night I would expect at a minum, a clean room.

A nice place to stay to close to hospitals so can make your visit less stressful. Very nice staff. Great cafe for breakf
Pros:

It’s a great location for family with hospital patients.
It was very nice of the hotel to extend our parking after we checked out, because I had a husband in hospital for day surgery.
The room we had also had a kitchen & washing machine with washing powder, which would be appreciated during a long stay.
Cafe opened for breakfast.

Cons:

The kitchen needed coffee cups as there was only one of a decent size.
The shower needed a deep clean.

Would not stay there again!
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

The room was not clean and the bathroom had a lot of mould. The furniture was old and stained and far from comfortable. The balcony door was blocked off by a bed. The bedroom curtain was hanging off the track and the view from that window was of several air-conditioners on a very dirty platform. Most of the crockery and cutlery needed washing before use.
