Friendly, helpful and communicative staff, location to town, off street parking and pool area are the best features.
This place would have been lovely in its heyday. Its clean, basic, though no niceties. In my room, things are broken, rusting and need replacing. There was ceiling and door rust, dirty broken windows and sills, the fridge is old, too small, broken, rusting, the door barely stayed closed, not defrosted therefore didn't stay cold and noisy as it was trying so hard to do its job. I closed one window and couldn't open it again and the one I could open had no security. The toaster blew the fuse and the replacement smelt of burning plastic. Although good shower, each time the hot water tap went on it had to be full-on to avoid the thumping sound not to mention the noise from plumbing in other units was invasive. There's no insulation against noise. Despite wearing earplugs you can hear everything next door and upstairs including barking dogs in the middle of the night was really unpleasant and annoying. If you intend to stay here ask for an upstairs room, away from the staircase, pet friendly rooms and the blaring outside lights.
Very helpful, specially when supposedly only one night stay, but end up staying 4 nights, on my husband medical brain emergency operation, they let me extend again, very grateful to this hotel.

Room on ground floor would have been easier on my dodgy knee.
The freezer frozen up, all shelves missing in fridge,noisy tenants all hours of night above us,sink needs replacing yuk, shower screen needs replacing no way 4 star, want refund $500 ,price was way over top for the unit condition.No breakfast offered,nothing just a bed
