No lift, lack of staff, old showers and facilities. Effectively a one star hotel masquerading as a boutique hotel
You get what you pay for I guess and provided a voucher for their mess up with the restaurant.
The photos were a total catfish! Must've taken the photos newly done because in person it looks COMPLETELY different. I stupidly didn't take any photos but we had to play around with the electrical ports just to find a working one, the bathroom has very very worn down grout and the shelves are very flimsy, the shower head desperately needs a good clean as there was creamy pink build up where the water comes out, lamps weren't plugged in, the selection of tea was horrible (tasted like dirty water after soaking for 10 minutes! Even though in the photos it had name brands like T2), the elevator didn't work and the restaurant was for lease (we were provided with a voucher for a cafe down the road) and they didn't have any clean plates or cutlery.
It is very much you get what you pay for with its cheap price!
The bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious. Reception was very polite. Good location not far from the hospital. It was perfect for what i needed.
The cupboards were bit out dated and it smelt abit funky in the room, the lights near the bed didnt work.
The location and friendly staff as well as clean
The room was tiny, had to walk sideways to get past the bed, the lamp next to the bed hardly working, the tap in the sink kept coming off, the window was cracked.
Location is great

Good location
Very small rooms, not well kept. Felt really old and worn down
Location is ideal
Eden on the front of house was just outstanding, so welcoming, had detailed knowledge of the area, made my stay personalised. Housekeeping, was friendly, approacable, my room was fresh and well maintained
Location
Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our experience. There was a significant amount of outside noise throughout the night, which already made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep.
To make matters considerably worse, at around 6:00am we were woken by two people very loudly having sex in the room directly above us. The noise was extremely clear and went on for long enough that it left us feeling incredibly uncomfortable, disgusted and, quite frankly, a little traumatised by the experience.
We understand that hotels cannot control every action of their guests; however, the overall level of noise during our stay was completely unacceptable. What was meant to be a comfortable night away ended with us simply wanting to get up, check out and leave as soon as possible.
We wanted to bring this to your attention as we certainly don’t feel that the experience we had reflects the standard we would expect when paying to stay at a hotel.
