Overall good stay for those on a budget.

The room needs to be updated, the bath room needs a complete rebuld, spa bath was very difficult to get in and out of and dangerous a big showner area would have been great.
We didn't use the pool as it was winter.

It was a nice studio room, the amenities were more than I expected.
Microwave, small fridge, cook top, jug & toaster etc, I was surprised at how many options there were for making food.
The bathroom was huge, it had a shower over a bath.
The bath was big and spacious.
Really enjoyed our stay here, it was only for one night, but very pleasant and the price point for the room was cheap.
Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay

Our room had all the facilities for a 2 night stay.

Really good value for price point. Room was a great size, bath was awesome. Enjoyed our stay here. A good option if you’re just in for a quick visit and don’t mind an older property. Overall great.

Got bitten by something during the stay. The room was filled with old carpet smell but covered by cheap fragrant.Facilities like water taps and basins were pretty run down. The pillows were too soft.

Good location and premises.

The property was good. Its just that the room is quite dusty because me and my kids got flu after hour 1 night stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

My room was nice and tidy, well maintained, comfortable bed, easy access to the motel and lots of parking spaces.

The Managers and Staff are also very polite, friendly, approachable and helpful.

The best thing about my room was the big spa bath, it was so relaxing and with the jets going made it that much better, I'm about 6'2 and could comfortably lay in there.

I will definitely be staying here again as I travel to Hamilton roughly every 12 days to see my two young daughters who also loved the place.

If you're looking for an affordable place, tidy facilities, easy parking, comfortable rooms and friendly approachable staff then I'd highly recommend The Alcamo.

It will take a feet of acrobatics to get into the shower/tub. In its hayday, this was probably the place to stay but the rooms have seen better days. I cringe at the black carpets and drapes - god only know what secrets they hold. It just felt sleezy. The beds were comfortable. I would not stay again.

Cost effective, comfortable bed, fitted out with cook top, microwave, jug, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots & pans & private bathroom. Was a bit tired in general especially the bathroom & the bathroom in need of a deep clean. However I just needed a bed & a bathroom for 1 night at a reasonable price & it was all of those things so I was more than happy.

This property is a bit dated but had everyrhing we needed for an overnight stay incl microwave tea and coffee making facilities and bedding was comfy. Only critic would be the pillows (thankfully we bought our own based on other reviews to do so), and only 1 warm blanket so I got cold in the bed near the windows.

Nice clean, cosy room.

Whilst the bed was very comfortable, the room was barely basic. No additional pillows or blankets. The shower was over a very large and high spa bath, difficult to get into and out of. The shower head was low and water sprayed in all directions except where it was needed.
No bedside lights.
A plug-in heater was supplied in the room and this was very efficient.
Overall felt old and very dated.

Staff welcoming and friendly with great customer services. Only stayed overnight and wish we had time to use spa bath. Although great to have, bath was a little high getting in to access shower. Otherwise, still recommend as room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you.

I could tell that housekeeping had done their best to keep the room clean and tidy. It's just old and had dirt in places for so long that probably can't be cleaned by the housekeepers. Staff are very friendly.
