Good price and room, noisy offstrip location that felt like a motel.
Pros:

Rooms were large, clean and comfortable, kitchen well stocked for cooking

Cons:

Very minimalist lobby. Felt like a 2 start motel. It's about 2 blocks off the strip so I thought it might be quieter. With the Formula one races coming up in November there was lots of construction noise plus it's near an emergency medical clinic with plenty of ambulance sirens.

A Great Choice, given all the choices Vega$ has to offer.

Truth be told, I booked The Carriage House this time, in October 2026, because it worked for me in 2014 (and we have stayed on the strip before). And I was not disappointed this time either. It had everything I needed; everything I wanted. Just a couple of blocks off the strip, I felt I was close to the action, but not part of the action (noise-wise; price-wise). Just a few minutes walk and I was photographing Planet Hollywood, Paris and the Bellagio Fountains (at 11 o'clock at night). On-site parking (US$10 - cheap!). A BIG room -kitchenette - fridge, microwave, cook-top, coffee-maker. Very comfortable; room to spread out. Seriously - two from two - it's the first place I would look at next time I'm in Las Vegas. If George Clooney would only call...!
