Cons:

The tap for the shower is not working right. The mixing between hot and cold does not work properly.

Also the fridge is too loud when it cycles.

Cons:

When we arrived the apartment smelt musky and unpleasant - all windows closed.
Lounge chair was worn and uncomfortable.
Shower in bath was a problem, as I am short and difficult to get into high bath.
Overall the smell wasn't good.

The location and the reception staff

Cons:

The bathroom is about 15 years outdated, with clear mould growing above the shower and below the sink. Patches of dirt and grime were in every corner and the walls were stained with who knows what. One of the lights also didn’t even work. The shower was unsafe and I can imagine in many people’s case inaccessible - shower/baths in today’s day are ridiculously unsafe!

The bedroom was also barely satisfactory, with dust covering every countertop.

The kitchen appliances felt outdated. The utensils were clearly old, mismatched, and when we first went to use them covered in dirt/food - disgusting. It is inexpensive to replace utensils and in Punthill Manchesters case, much needed.

The blinds in every room were dirty, and all walls were covered in finger marks or dirt of some sort.

Plenty of room for the family.
Pros:

The room was spacious and had a good layout. Great apartment for a long stay with family.
The area has some great cafes and restaurants nearby.

Cons:

The TV was old, no HD channels and the remote was missing the battery cover. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work so the bathroom stayed damp. We advised the reception of the issues when we first arrived but we had no follow up.

Unfortunately we had the pleasure of enduring and after hours party on our floor until 5am and then had the builders start at 7am. It was a Friday night but completely uncomfortable

Offsite parking very easy and close.

Cons:

Cleanliness of the room was very below standard.
Air con intake must have never been cleaned.
Bathroom fan didn’t work and then the fan and grill subsequently fell on me.
Construction noise right next door, starting before 6am, even on a Saturday!! ( not Punthill’s fault)
