Staff were great and the location was excellent. They upgraded the room which was a nice plus and the parking was right out front. Staff were very good and friendly and the apartment was a good size. The breakfast coffee and croissants were better than expected.
Heating wasn't working and no hot water in the shower, no one responded to the Whatsapp number we were given in case of these issues, had to shower at the pool. Pool was essentially open to the public so booking seemed pointless (you could get in from the street it seemed).
Poor breakfast setup
Clean modern with sport and pool facilities
Not a lot! Free parking
Cost a small fortune, dated, dirty. Breakfast was a dry croissant and not what we expected when we paid a huge £230 for two nights!!! Was loud, banging doors all night.
The location to the beach was great, bed was comfortable but small
We arrived to a messy reception with no staff on loads of door keys all over the desk just left out. I finally called them, telling me they were with another guest and wouldn't be long. The bedrooms had large windows with only black out blinds, no net curtains they had been removed and so you could see right into the other guest rooms. If I shut the blinds I shut out the light. The pool area was filthy the floor in the changing room made me feel sick. , only 4 lockers no hooks so no where to put your cloths or hang anything , not even in the pool area. We booked this hotel for the spa for one night the Jacuzzi had broken and the steam room was not working. I would NOT call this a Spa. An understatement!!
Location facilities
The front door was so flimsy, and no safe in the room
The receptionist was amazing. She was prompt and very professional and polite.
The Management was also very Humble and accommodating.
Myself, my son 22yrs his girlfriend and my grandson 3yrs old and my youngest son who’s 15yrs old. I decided to go for a walk and report the door and keycard after we dropped our belongings off into the apartment, while my kids and grandson went for a swim. 6:15pm. I returned after 30mins, thinking it wouldn’t be an issue with cards and door.
The lady at reception was amazing and trying all sorts to get us into our apartment 411.
She was being guided by Maxine whom I believe was one of the managers. Talking the receptionist through on how to try charge the door lock and get us into our rooms, she had a tool kit and everything. She was trying to call different numbers of maintenance guys in which one of them only lived down the road. But nobody was answering her.
She was running around in and out trying to fix the door for 1hr and half, while the phone was ringing and customers starting to come in and out of reception noticing and understanding that she was having issues and would come back later.
Speaking with management over the phone, and she was very apologetic as she wasn’t trained to fix card reader doors in the case of an emergency (that’s what maintenance are for in my opinion)
She was on her own, trying to do things all by herself and she was put under a lot of pressure.
Although my kids and my grandson were hungry and getting tired. After 2hrs we finally got in as they finally got hold of the maintenance guys.
We got in to our room just before 8:30pm thankfully.
The hotel was very central to all amenities. Our rooms were tastefully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. It was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and everything else you might need. Tea, coffee, milk pods and sugar were supplied. The kitchen was equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was good quality and clean. The 3 bedrooms each had a wall mounted TV. One room was bunk beds, two rooms had a double bed. One of those rooms was en suite. There was also a separate bathroom. The pool, sauna and steam room were a bonus and not too full when we used them. We booked an hour slot and there were probably only another couple of people in there with us.
The only downside was that the settee in the living room was only large enough to seat 3 adults comfortably. We were a party of 5 so 2 of us had to sit on kitchen type chairs. That said, we weren’t in the rooms that much so didn’t spoil our enjoyment
Excellent facilities, friendly and accommodating staff.
We took our dog with us on this stay. The apartment was directly opposite a lovely park which was handy for toilet walks. Its in a great location. Aldi and St Annes pier all within a 10 minute walk.
Our washer dryer was broken. Which wasn't a big issue as we just put our towels on the radiators to dry after visiting the pool. This is the only fault we could find with the property.
It was a family get together and going in the bus and to the beach
The room was dirty the bed was creaking all night they need replacing some of the furniture was ripped check out time is far to early considering you Carnt get in your room till 3 so if you only staying one night it’s not worth the money
The sofa in the room had a multitude of stains.
We had to cover it with a quilt from the spare room to feel comfortable.
Location
Room I booked wasn’t what I was given when I arrived and the hotel was full so I couldn’t get the room I booked!
There’s no sound insulation so the second night upstairs guests were extremely noisy after 10pm - waking up my children
I loved the location, just 5 minutes walk to the beach front & close the beachfront cafes and amusements.
I liked the pool & sauna which we pretty much had to ourselves (make sure you book your time slot). Large enough & clean.
I liked the spaciousness of the apartment.
I didn’t like the super uncomfortable bunk beds when we’d booked a double bed!
I didn’t like the response from the receptionist when I informed them, blaming it on booking.com and saying they couldn’t do anything about it (another person was complaining about the same thing so it’s worth an email prior to you arriving!).
I didn’t like the ‘breakfast’ facilities; literally a coffee machine & some plain croissants for you to take from a counter in reception. No juice or even water.
