Great location, rooms really spacious lovely feel to it
The “Free Breakfast” felt like false advertising. We booked this hotel thinking it would be a proper breakfast as we were going to be spending all day out.
Turns out the breakfast unlike most hotels - was plain croissants and a small takeaway coffee. One of our group was gluten intolerant and therefore couldn’t have anything….
On top of that the lack of cleaning became a problem as we were there for 4 days. 4 people in a room the rubbish piled up.
Plus was charged £2 for a towel for the pool… which isn’t a great loss, but if you advertise a pool surely you’d provide free towels.
Finally, the shower lost all hot water on the last day meaning we froze before our 290 mile drive home.
We've stayed here on a number of occasions and always enjoy coming back. The swimming pool is fantastic and is a real highlight for the children. The complimentary hot drinks and croissants in the morning are a lovely touch and make the stay feel even more welcoming. The location and facilities make it a great place for a family break, which is why we continue to return.
On a few visits, the steam room or sauna hasn't been working, although we appreciate that these things can occasionally happen. We've also noticed that the toiletries in the rooms are sometimes only half full, and the rooms can have a slightly musty smell when you first arrive.

We were in the attic apartment in the heat wave. Despite air con in one room, it was too hot to sleep. The kids room had a broken blind and felt uncared for. Breakfast v simple

The pool was a bit too hectic, it seemed to more of a chilled type of pool but large groups of kids was messing and causing a disturbance so much that another couple just left

Paid extra for an extra large double bed and felt like just a standard double bed.
water in shower was cold on many occasions,

no mirror in bedroom or a long mirror.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! we arrived here very late with 2 babies and the rooms were an absolute disgrace! First room the air con had a smell of fish, and stains all over the sofa bed. Second room the couch was all stained and broken ! The third room the Sofa bed was absolutely disgusting we could not sleep in. Holes and dirt/stains all over it. There was no rooms available and it was by this point 2 o'clock in the morning so we had no choice to stay because of the kids. We checked out first thing in the morning and found somewhere else to stay. Staff were so RUDE ! not a single apology, refused to give us a full refund and only gave a refund for the two nights we left. They actually found it acceptable to charge full price to stay with the stress of moving to three different rooms with two babies and still not being able to sleep because of the sheer dirt !! If we could have slept in the car we would have !!!! Genuinely never experienced anything like it in my life. Absolutely nothing like the pictures online, i do not know how it is even allowed !!
