Overall a very pleasant stay
Pros:

Deluxe loft is our favourite. Plenty of space to move around. Dining table is big enough for a family of 4. Beds are comfy. Toilet/bathroom always clean. This is the nth time we are staying. Location is excellent, too.

Cons:

Kitchen cutlery/crockery are not properly wash and clean. Most of the time we need to do a thorough wash first.

Pros:

The hotel is a lovely old place. We were unfortunate and ended up with a leaking shower screen. The water on the floor was dangerous and a lovely staff member got us another towel and some bath mats to put on the floor. The Mercure is in a perfect spot close to the War Memorial and all the tourist spots.

Cons:

The shower needed bleaching and maybe new grout. Looked bad with the mold around the edge.

Nice friendly staff, great location of hotel.
Pros:

Bed and pillows comfy. Polite and friendly staff.

Cons:

Cups for tea and coffee too small. Don't need a big desk in the room. 1 chair only. Carpet needs upgrading to a better colour than the brown. Cleaning mold in the bathroom and do around the skirting board. Small box of tissues would be nice.

It was a nice place to stay.
Pros:

I loved the friendship provided by the staff.

Paid parking and there was was only one pedestrian gate that only let people go out and not in.

Overall enjoyable visiting Floriade.
Pros:

The room was large and the beds were comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There were no lifts and the whole place was old and in need of refurbishment.
The breakfast was not included.

A good place to stay for a quick getaway
Pros:

The hotel was in a central location to shops and attractions. Room was clean and comfortable. My request for sofa bed to be set up was actioned prior to going into the room.

Cons:

Check in was the slowest I've experienced. I had put down check in from 2pm. I came in around 2:30pm and the desk had to call housekeeping to see if the room was ready. And then a Housekeeping supervisor had to check the room first before I was given keys to the room.
