Convenient location for the airport and rental company nextdoor with secure parking. Clean room with friendly staff and host but the road noise could disturb sleep for light sleepers.

Great cozy sray near airport. Lively garden, good breakfast. Chill peaceful vibes. Good bird and butterfly watching.. nice spot to watch planes from too. Occasionally plans

Super friendly owners and staff.

Peter and his wife were super communicative, prior to our departure. Day of our arrival he stayed up late to meet us and show us our room. The room was clean, and we'll appointed. Only down side would be the pillows were thin and you can hear the planes taking off. Breakfast the next day was great and they helped arrange a ride back to the airport. Would recommend for a night of arrival or departure from. Either international or domestic terminals.

This is a wonderful secluded small property located in San Jose near the airport! The entry gate made us feel safe and the remote worked perfectly! We were able to return our rental car to Adobe a mile away and get a shuttle to the hotel! Thank you to the property receptionist (I wish I could remember her name!) for being SO pleasant and to Julio for giving us a lovely ride to the airport at 4:00 a.m.! The room was just as pictured and all four of us had our own twin beds! We felt so safe that we left our door open for hours to let in the cool evening air...everything was just right! Thank you for helping us end our amazing visit to Costa Rica on a good note!!!

I had a fantastic stay at dos Palmas studios! I was welcomed by Flor who kindly arranged my transport to the airport and offered to pack my breakfast to go as I was leaving early! The studio was very spacious with a great kitchen and shower! The garden and pool area is beautiful and a great place to relax and plane spot! Would definitely recommend staying here!

The owner lady is super nice. I was nervous about leaving the rental car in the airport as suggested by the rental company. She advised to return the rental car previous evening as I had an early morning flight next day and arranged a regular taxi guy for free who showed up on time and dropped us off at the airport! The bonus is all the rental car companies including mine is in the same street. The only issue is the traffic.

They are such great hosts that it felt like home. Hastle free, Next to the airport. Good price. Even has a small pool. Very convenient for late or early flight times. Stayed there twice and would again.

Beautiful little oasis right next to the airport

Pro: staff is friendly and helpful. Property is very close to the airport.
Con: Property is very close to the airport. Jets fly low overhead day and night. Just outside the front gate is a permanently congested highway with bumper to bumper traffic and exhaust. Walking outside the property is unpleasant, but you can order food online for delivery.

My flight was delayed causing me to arrive at 2am. Peter was so gracious and kind. I really appreciated it. Breakfast was yummy and the bed was perfect. If you are transiting from the airport this is a perfect location.

Property was great and the people hosting were excellent. A little noisy from aircraft, but excellent service for the price.

What an oasis in the edge of San Jose. The grounds are absolutley stunning and the owners are more than friendly and helpful. The garden is increible with fresh peppers and tomatoes and herbs. So unique and pretty. Youd never know it was there! The rooms have more than what youll need and the beds and comfy and cozy. Great place to stay the night before you have to fly out.

Peter and Flor are wonderful hosts. The rooms are good, the price is very reasonable, breakfast is very good, and DOS PALMAS is very handy, located close to the airport.
