everything was clean and up to date, average hotel for the money

I liked that there was a couch and chair to sit and relax in. Easily located just five minutes off of our route we were traveling.

Did not like much at all. Breakfast was very poor, when we turned our bed down a bug was alive under the top sheet and crawling off the bed!!

Be aware there is no elevator at this facility. If you need one, you will need to request a lower floor..

Room had a smell when you first entered it, didn’t notice it once you were in the room. When you turned the shower water on it initially came out very rusty, then cleared up. Lights in bathroom area are motion sensor lights so they pop on in the middle of the night if you have to get up, which lights up the room for others sleeping. I probably will choose a different hotel next time.

If you advertise a free breakfast but have no eggs of any kind, that's not breakfast in my eyes. Breakfast was a joke.

We booked a pet-friendly room on the first floor since we were traveling with our 2 dogs. The room was in poor condition. The floors literally turned our white socks black and there were stains and dirt on the bed sheets, pillow cases and bed spread. The ONLY good feature was the expansive grass area to walk the dogs.

A few of the staff were short and abrupt when communicating. Just from the naked eye bedding was stained with hair all over bed upon check in. Our $200 deposit was kept because of a spill caused by tube feeding. When asking the owner, why we were being charged so much… he lied and said there was more damaged linen then there actually was!! I WILL SAY…. the only plus was the hotel itself was close to the highway and had a continental breakfast.
When we first got there at 4pm we called for help because they were away from the Front desk ( not a problem in itself) first time when they picked up, they hung up as we were talking, So we had to call back. We ended up waiting about 7 minutes for help.
When we got into the room, there was hair all over the bedding and a yellowish stain on top of the fitted sheet ( we decided just to just clean it up the best we could and lay a towel down)
In the middle of the night my sister’s tube feeding had leaked and got on the bedding and a towel. When I called down to the front desk, I had explained that Something had spilt, asked for a change of sheets and offered to change them.
When we left in the morning, we had done the usual…. Picked up all trash & placed together in designated trash bags. We also put the bedding in a pile ( all to make it easier on the housekeeper) THEN even left a tip!
The hotel kept our $200 deposit. We understand and were Willing to pay for the actual items that were stained…. BUT The person we talked to on the phone (said he was the owner) tried saying that we ruined both complete bed sets and four towels. Which is not true at all, as the spill was contained to one small area of ONE bed. He didn’t even mention the other bed set until we had asked for an itemized List of the stained items.

The good: We arrived early in the morning and was promptly greeted. Our check-in was simple and quick. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. The hotel was quiet and restful. The bad: the room had a funny smell to it, not bad just funny. The breakfast was very lacking. In fact, we never ate there because it was unappetizing. Eggs, sausage, bread, waffles, cereal, and fruit was the extent of it. The eggs were dried out and nasty looking. I would highly recommend that they rethink breakfast. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

I had stayed there a number of years ago when it was a Lee's Inn and was very impressed. It's gone down hill since. The sower certain was almost falling off, Needed new mattresses and better quality linens.

The clerk wt check in asked for my credit card even though i paid ahead via Expedia. She said it was for "incidentals". Upon checkout she could not provide me with a receipt showing no incidental charges were accessed. She showed me a picture of her computer screen wherethere were no charges which she took with her phonebut would not share it with me or take the same picture with my phone so i had the info to reconcile withmy cteditcard bill. There was no manager onsite to help although she said she called him she still was unable to help me. Very unhappy with this customer service.
