Worst hotel ever!!!!
Pros:

Nothing to like do not stay here!!! Gross!!!

Cons:

Booked room 1 month in advance got to the hotel and was told that they could not honor our reservation. The front desk person was very rude and the manager was not any better. Had to cancel and leave and then 2 days later the hotel charged my card for the room we did not stay in. The whole ordeal was the worst situation every dealt with. The hotel lobby was dirty and very stinky. Again do not stay here!!

Pros:

The breakfast was good. I had to go to a separate room for hot water for my tea, which was odd.

We didn't stay in that dump. Health department needs to make a visit.
Pros:

Nothing!!!!!!!!!

Cons:

First of all, I didn't stay there. The motel had an odor , was not clean, and the bedspread had a large
wet stain on top of it. Went to complain and the receptionist , who was barefoot, by the way, came to see
what was going on. We were given another room which was not ready. So, I drove to another motel and my
family and I stayed there. I immediately returned to the Quality Inn and Suites and requested my money back.
They said I have to take it up w/booking.com. I called booking.com and the rep seemed very sympathetic. All booking.com did for me was give me an $11.42 travel credit from $369.60 bill! I will say that I will never again use
booking.com for any of my travels and I will spread the word to family and friends. I may have lost a few hundred
dollars, but you will lose thousands!!!

Dirt, smelly, staff was complacent. Totally bad experience...DO NOT STAY HERE!
Pros:

It was a convenient location.

Cons:

Couldn't find staff...they were usually outside smoking or on their phones. They lobby was very dirty and worn down. Smelled VERY musty and smelled of mildew. Room was dirty, comforter had stains on it and the rug had cigarette burns. The door had been badly repaired and was hard to close. There were poorly done drywall repairs and it basically was a mess. It also smelled of mildew. I had to wash all of my clean clothing when I returned home because the smell was so bad. There is ZERO chance that I would ever stay there again. I saw several very nice hotels nearby once I arrived...I wish I had known of them earlier and I wouldn't have stayed at this dump!

Pleasant stay, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water.
Pros:

The location near Indiana Dunes National Park made accessing both the west & east ends of the park convenient. It was priced considerably less than other motels in the area.

Cons:

The requested “accessible “ room was spacious but it had a bath tub instead of a step in or roll in shower. Three grab bars didn’t make it any easier to get into for someone with limited mobility.
Generally the staff was friendly & accommodating. Breakfast on Saturday was sparse & when the somewhat rude staff member servicing the breakfast bar was asked about some missing items she said there would be no more food put out. This was at least 45 minutes before breakfast service was to end.
Considering the Portage area had experienced tornado damage & loss of power for 4-5 days, the staff did a really good job being prepared for guests.

Tired traveler
Cons:

During our stay, we experienced multiple issues that significantly impacted our family's comfort and safety.
Upon arrival, the door was difficult to open and close and kept geeltting stuck making entering and leaving a struggle.
The bed was covered in black dog hair, human hair, and a used/dirty tissues.
It took approximately 5 hours for housekeeping to provide clean bedding after asking three times.
The hotel website advertised cribs as available, but no crib could be provided despite traveling with young children.
Staff created issues regarding our service animal when checking in and appeared uncomfortable with her because she is a bull type dog, despite the property stating it accommodates service animals.
We were placed in the room furthest from the main entrance near a side exit. Compounding the issue, our key card repeatedly failed, leaving me and my children locked out of the building when trying to use that door.
The side entrance door could not be propped open because it uses a strong magnetic latch that immediately re-secures the door.
A drawer would not stay closed and repeatedly slid open. Both of my 16month olds and my autistic son were injured by the drawer due to this maintenance issue.
Trash was not collected from our room during our stay, despite expected housekeeping services. Our room was not even offered cleaning.
The bathroom smelled of mold and mildew which caused my allergies and breathing difficulties for my autistic son.
As a mother traveling with multiple young children during an extended power outage, these issues created unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and safety concerns. The condition of the room upon arrival, the lack of advertised amenities, maintenance problems, housekeeping failures, and difficulties accessing the building did not meet reasonable expectations for a paid hotel stay.

Storm made for a rocky stay
Pros:

Staff was super helpful and understanding.

Cons:

Was not their fault but storms knocked out the power. So we had no power the entire stay. Seems they weren’t really prepared for such an incident. We had to do all using flashlights from our cell phones. Thankfully the water was warm for showering but my wife couldn’t wash her hair as there was no hair dryer use possible given no power. All they had for breakfast was dry cereal and milk which we don’t eat. Thought a discount on our rate would have been prudent but none was offered or given. Otherwise seemed like a decent hotel. I’m sure our experience would have been much better had it not been for the storm.
