Good stay, but not what you expect from a retreat
Pros:

The staff was very friendly, both from the hotel, restaurant and SPA. The room was spacious, clean. Breakfast was ok, not wow. The staff at the SPA was able to book us the couples room, which was a bonus. The massage was good.

Cons:

My expectations were different for a place called Country Spa and Retreat. The fact that the SPA is in a different location than the hotel and you have to take all your belongings and cross a muddy road full of cars is disappointing. I did read that the SPA is in a different building than the hotel, but I did not imagine this.
Secondly, I did not find the atmosphere of the restaurant worthy of a Country Retreat: there was loud pop music during dinner, the waiter saw us sitting down and came with a table cloth and put it while were were already at the table, like we were coming at a closed restaurant. The staff was very friendly otherwise, no issues here.
The breakfast was ok, but absolutely nothing out of the ordinary, quite poor actually for the cost.
If it is cold outside, there is nothing to do around the property.
There was an event when we arrived and also one when we left, so the hallway was packed of loud people.

All in all, there was nothing extremely bad or extremely good, but it was not the relaxing atmosphere I was expecting from other places I visited that called themselves Spa and Retreat.

Pros:

The room is big, clean. The bed is very confy. You have a min bar with drinks and snacks free- from the house. Also, in the room, because in that weekend was Valentine's day I found a cute arrangemnet with muffins, strawberyy and champagne. Breakfast very good. Also I had the other meals there thr the food was good and tasty. The staff is very kind.

Cons:

That I have stayed only for 2 nights. And that the spa was a cross the hotel ( 20 m apart- small.distance) but because it was so windy and raining outside I choose not to go. I went instead at the sauna and ciubar ( that were free) outdoor in the same location. Very nice.

Un loc în care revii cu drag
Pros:

Totul la Country Spa Retreat a fost absolut impecabil — de la condiții, curățenie și confort, până la atmosferă, liniște și atenția la fiecare detaliu. Este un loc în care chiar simți grija pentru oaspeți și dorința sinceră de a oferi o experiență completă.
Întregul personal este extrem de amabil, profesionist și mereu cu zâmbetul pe buze, contribuind decisiv la starea de relaxare pe care o oferă acest loc.
O mențiune specială pentru domnișoara Adriana de la recepție, pentru profesionalism, disponibilitate și căldura cu care ne-a întâmpinat de fiecare dată precum și pentru domnul Damian de la restaurant, pentru atenția, amabilitatea și serviciile excelente — oameni care fac diferența, dar care reflectă perfect spiritul întregii echipe. Felicitări managementului!

An unforgettable experience – true ***** star hospitality
Pros:

Our stay at Country Spa Retreat in Snagov was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The level of service deserves a true 5-star rating: the staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and professional, always making us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The breakfast is truly authentic and home made, very traditional and delicious.

The facilities are spectacular and impeccably maintained. Our room was spotless, cozy, and perfectly heated—ideal for a winter escape. One of the most magical moments of our stay was using the outdoor jacuzzi while it was snowing, late at night while enjoying a glass of wine. It was an unforgettable experience and something we will treasure for a long time.

Even though we visited during winter, it was easy to imagine how incredible this place must be in summer. The property is expansive and beautifully designed, with a charming village of casitas, a stunning pool area, tennis, paddle and handball courts, as well as multiple play areas for children—making it perfect for couples, families, and groups of friends alike.

Both my partner and I left completely relaxed and inspired, and we are already looking forward to returning—next time with more friends from Spain to share this special place with them.

Country Spa Retreat is not just a hotel; it’s a destination. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a truly memorable experience.

Eventually if I would be young I would go there for the summer , located close to Bucharest.
Pros:

Amaizing beautiful boutiques hotel. Exceptional service ,food great , did. To try the spa facilities , was to cold.

Cons:

Jacuzzi out side, spa very far, abut a hundred meters, you want a massage , after that you need to walk back to hotel, not so great,and no elevator high stairs.

The room was lovely, the staff was lovely.

Cons:

We are in winter, it was not listed anywhere that the jacuzzi is outdoor and the sauna is in another building outside the hotel, so we did not enjoy anything except the room, beyond that there is no elevator and you have to climb 2 floors, you need to register this if the disabled come to the hotel. The road that leads to the hotel is muddy and cannot be called a road, in short, do not come in winter
