Pros:

Very pretty hotel. And staff was nice. Very close to all the places we needed to go.

Cons:

Had to wait 10 minutes for hot water for a shower. Lots of noise coming from outside at nights and kids running up and down the hallways at 7am. AC made lots of noise as well.

Great service and a comfortable stay interrupted only by the noisy cityscape location.
Pros:

Clean property with beautiful appointments. Staff was amazingly professional and attentive to every need.

Cons:

The location was convenient in order to attend some events in the area but it was absolutely awful for sound. There was little sound isolation between rooms and there was almost no sound deadening for things outside. Being downtown there were trains at all hours (being from another state I didn’t realize tracks were so close), I often heard people racing in the streets, blasting music from time to time, and then each night there were emergency sirens blaring and racing off somewhere. All fairly normal or expected things downtown, however I did expect a little more isolation from the sounds inside my room. Surprisingly it sounded like every loud noise was right outside my window making it very difficult to sleep.

Fantastic stay.
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff very comfortable rooms. I appreciated the Nespresso machine in our room for a morning coffee.

Cons:

I don’t like to have to valet my car. Although everybody was very friendly, I wish that the ability to self park.

Cozy, quaint, romantic, peaceful.
Pros:

They gave us a gift card when they heard we were celebrating our anniversary (we hadn’t stayed there since our wedding 16 yrs ago!). It was such special service. Plus we came on a busy holiday wknd and we were still able to get a good breakfast table despite the busyness. Also, the beds were amazing!

Cons:

The couch wasn’t as comfy for lounging.

We loved the location, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and weekend farmers market. The staff was outstanding. Loved the character of the building

The A/C unit was loud when turning on, but couldn't be helped due to the age of the building
