There’s only 1 washer and 1 Dryer. There should be signs posted for people who leave their laundry in the washer for more than 15 minutes that it will be removed

The room and most of the hotel looked clean.
Inside the hallways and room look outdated and the orange decor looks like it’s from the 70’s. Staff were not rude but just okay, definitely not as friendly as all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Oregon. Food was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. It was noisy, you could hear next door guests, their tv until 1am. The flood lights from the business next door kept turning on and light came through the windows. The bed was very uncomfortable. The shower curtain kept touching me when I showered. Overall it was a terrible experience. I went there to rest and didn’t get sleep or rest.

The facility was clean, the staff greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. We were just passing thru, however, if ever in Salem again, we would certainly stay again

Pretty much everything! I loved the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were so kind and friendly. The hotel was secure and safe. This place is not old, but it’s older in all of the best ways! It’s solid! Solid wood furniture, hot water that stays hot through a whole shower, cold a/c and warm heating (I had the chance to use each in the same week), and the breakfast made by Martha was wonderful! :)
Only one very small oddity - as I was checking out a few minutes before 11 (check out time is 11) the woman who was checking me out said something like, “So, getting a late start today?” in a very serious tone. I immediately thought I made a mistake on the checkout time, but I didn’t. I had been up since 8, but I couldn’t see my family until about 12 before leaving town, so I just sat in my room and relaxed for a while.
I heard a lot of other people leaving the hotel around 9 am, but didn’t think it was an expectation.
I loved this hotel but didn’t like that this was my last interaction. :(

This place is a gem! We loved it, great staff, very good breakfast, excellent service! Less expensive than other hotels in the city, but high quality.

The shower curtain. But I'm weird about shower curtains. I prefer glass doors. They just feel cleaner.
