hotel is permanently closed, DO NOT BOOK
hotel is permanently closed, DO NOT BOOK
The hotel was permanently closed with a chain and lock on the door. So we didn't get to stay in it, even though my card was charged the full sum on 18 July, 2025.
No one from Booking.com or the hotel informed us about the closure - we arrived at the doorstep on 23 July to find this out and were left standing outside. I had to book another hotel on the spot.
I have written to Booking.com about a refund from the first day (23 July) until the last day (25 July), but no one has responded to me as of today (27 July).
Very disappointed by this whole experience.
We are a family of one senior person, one adult and two children below the age of 17 years old.

Awesome room layout with an empty glass bottle to refill at the water machine outside the room. Plenty of hanging space. Iron and board provided in communal area. Well designed and loved the shadow room numbers. Staff helpful. Grab can be ordered and eaten in the room - also easy to get Grabs to the door. Step-free access and smooth ramps, with no loose tiles. Cab to Batu Ferrengi was easy.
Elevator is small and slow, but the stairs are lovely and wide and not too deep.
I cannot tell about the hotel at all because it is padlocked and closed down, without notifying me. I arrived in the middle of the night. NOT A SINGLE NOTIFICATION BY EMAIL OR MESSAGE IN BOOKING.COM.
I was charged full payment either by the hotel or booking.com for a 6 days stay when none of a single day was spent at the hotel. Only when I read other review I realized what has happened. I have filed complaint and expected that my payment will be refunded in full. I don't know who charged me, Booking.com or the hotel. I have video to prove that when I arrive the hotel was closed down. NOT A SINGLE NOTIFICATION BY EMAIL OR MESSAGE IN BOOKING.COM.
If I could rate this 0 I would, it’s a scam and the hotel is shut down
We arrived in the dark to find there was no hotel it was all closed down. We had no phone service as we had only just arrived in Malaysia. I paid in full and had the hotel confirm it before arrival. Then the hotel had the cheek of messaging me to say can I review it, unsure whether it was automated or not but booking isn’t replying when I ask for my money back either. It’s a waste and please don’t bother.
At least got some parking lot for first come first serve
Bathroom sink was leaking and not well maintained the rooms facilities but overall is clean.
They need to update thier website. The rooms have definitely deteriorated since they took the images and the fact that the hotel is so loud and dark because the windows are green. The staff seem sweet and the elevator is quite funky. Great that they have a water purifier.
Yellowing towels, the bed was rock hard too. It was so loud, people were literally yelling outside my door at 2am and then 6am the road was super loud too. Could get some soundproofing put in and buy new linens.
Horrid place! The room was absolutely filthy with dirty towels! The staff were really rude
Everything about this hotel was awful! We booked two nights but checked out after one. Dirty hotel with rude staff!! The young guy on the reception was extremely rude when we asked for clean towels!
