For most first timers rooms looks small but this is standard in Japan,
Pros:

Very close to two metro stations and lot of local eateries, 15min walk to Ueno. Neighborhood is very quiet and peacefull

Cons:

For 4 adults we thought we had one queen, one twin and one bunk bed but this was combined two queens

Great Tokyo base with kids.
Pros:

Quiet location, clean, perfect for a stay with kids (playground across the street). Second time staying here. Makes a great base for exploring the city. Quick walk to metro.

Cons:

I appreciate the cost savings for not having full time reception but I still wish there was someone around at reception.

Far enough to be a quiet neighborhood but close enough to a station to easily travel all over Tokyo!
Pros:

The location was the best part. The Ueno station is just a few steps away and right next to a 7-11 for easy late night snackin before heading back to home base to rest. The beds are also great with SUPERB mattresses. And finally the toilet is MAGICAL! Heated seats AND heated bidet water. Heavenly on the booty.

Cons:

The stairs not having rails to hold on to was not great for my mom who is over 70 years old. They could at least add that in since there is no elevator available.

Cons:

The hotel was great, minus the stairs! A few emails about noise which made our trip a bit uncomfortable. We didn't hear anything and tried to stay as quite as possible.

The shower hose was spray from the handle. Didn't really impact our shower but should be looked at. We never saw any hotel staff our entire stay to let them know.

Excelente ubicación, a menos de 100 metros de la estación Shin Okashimachi. Camas cómodas y baño excelente.

Cons:
