Location, we love a downtown hotel. Walk to everything.
Our room faced a busy street, so some road noise.
Breakfast was great, location was perfect, staff was nice BUT kept saying that room was only booked for one (not true, I rechecked this with Booking) Staff seemed to imply that we were trying to sneak an extra guest in.
Gym door lock broken so gym not available. Expresso machine broken. Room refrigerated not working properly, kept items cool but not nearly cold enough. Stains on the carpet, blinds. Had to replace our room key three times because it wouldn't work -- each time staff insisted that my very ill husband had to come to the desk as only he was a guest even though the reservation was for two guests. Paying for parking --annoying!!! Paying for a bottle of water -- insulting.
Proximity to downtown
The breakfast service was totally inadequate where insufficient staffing led to long delays
Close to the festival
Hot tub closed too early
Yes and Yes
Awesome.
Overall, this hotel was fine. Nothing special but we did appreciate how close we were to downtown bend. We were annoyed that we were told parking would be $15 a night when we checked in and then got billed for $20 a night. Not sure how the Hilton thinks this is acceptable when their staff quotes one price and then they charge guests a higher rate.
Booked last minute and was a great experience for a quick stay.
Room was spacious and bed was comfortable!!
Nice hotel, room was spacious. Not a fan of having vanity/sink out in the room instead of secluded in bathroom. Disturb sleeping people when washing hands after bathroom use. Shower was plastic and creaked with every move in shower. The air conditioner was old and falling apart… not what you would expect for a Hilton.
Overall.. not terrible.. just expected more.
The food was good but the service was barely average. Not very efficient or observant. My room wasn’t cleaned the second night at all.
The black outlines would not go up despite maintenance coming twice, the showerhead would not adjust to the proper position, there is a charge for parking and coffee is not available. If I am to be nickel and dimed, and I expect everything to be perfect. The rate is too high for what you get.
The breakfast was the best. It was very fresh, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were neat and spacious. I didn’t get the chance to use the hot tub; it was broken.
It was easy, safe, clean, and pet friendly. Thought it was weird that two of the towels had holes. But otherwise the stay was fine. A little pricy, but did the job.
Loved the hotel and the location. Just a few different items of decor that made it feel fun and cozy. THE ONLY THING that felt off from the remodel was the bathroom. I would recommend redoing the shower/bath completely to a walk-in shower with some fun tiles and nicer shower heads, maybe multiple. When I stepped in the shower, I felt as if I were going to fall through to the next room.
Other than that, it was nice and hotels like this make me not want to use AirBnB.
My husband and I loved the location. The bed and pillows were super comfortable.
The only thing we didn’t like was that the breakfast there you have to pay for. It’s a small menu and the food is already pre cooked…. so we don’t understand why they don’t just have a buffet style set up like most hotels . Not worth 40 dollars unfortunately.
The staff was nice and the room was comfortable
Very old and dated. Bathrooms were old, moldy, and unclean. Elevator had a broken floor and was extremely slow. The price tag didn’t match the property.
