It was okay for one night. Won't be my first choice when I return to VA.
Pros:

The room was decent and clean

Cons:

The facility, including the elevator was dirty. Also I asked front desk for a towel and he told me I should have asked when I checked in because they were out. Also there was not a variety for breakfast.

Room was clean and location convenient for purpose of my visit.
Pros:

When I checked in the lady at the desk was cordial and informative

Cons:

There was no trash can or hair dryer available in the room. I did go to the desk in the morning and was given a hair dryer but told to return it when I'd finished using it. Also, no soap in dispenser in tub/shower when I took a shower. However, shampoo and conditioner dispensers full. Room needs updates.

It was good value and had everything I was expecting/wanting out of a hotel

Building was rundown, elevator was barely getting to the top floor, made a bunch of racket. And one elevator was out of order.

Not a bad value if traveling very light and not staying very long.
Pros:

The location was ok. I was looking for a halfway stop that was easy to find enroute to a farther destination. I chose this place because of the higher-than-average rating on Booking.com and the price as well. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Cons:

The hotel was hard to find despite an accurate GPS--set back about 200 ft from the main road and the only sign for it was nearly invisible after dark--very small and mostly hidden by a tree. The luggage carts were 3-wheeled disasters (designed that way, not missing a wheel). To make matters worse, the porte-cochère apron was poured concrete scultpted to give an uneven tiled artistic texture, but that made maneuvering a loaded luggage cart into the building nearly impossible. Apparently only one of two elevators were functional, and the one that worked was dirty.

Staff were very nice.
Pros:

Convenient to my location. Staff accommodated me with a 1st floor room

Cons:

Ice machine on 1st floor was out of order. 4th floor where I had to go for ice was very hot in hallway. The elevator made a loud grinding noise when it stopped which was scary.
