Hôtel Restaurant O'Banel

Un hôtel formidable fait avec beaucoup de goût une propreté irréprochable a votre service dans le moindre détail le restaurant un délice stephane et sa femme on a l'impression qu'on est des amies de longue date en tout cas nous reviendrons et j'oubliais la boutique de sa femme (les filles de la place) des vêtements incroyable de la décoration magnifique a bientôt. Tout était parfait ! Le personnel est aux petits soins et d’une grande gentillesse. Continuez ainsi!

The good stuff:
- the hotel is as presented in the pictures and is situated in a small authentic French village
- the spacious room was clean, looked and felt new
- the ac works fine

Matters of attention:
- the person who called to verify our arrival time was
- perhaps due to a language barrier - borderline rude.Phrases as“Well, do you speak French or not?” and “Do you need dinner or not?” didn’t make us feel very welcomed
- The person taking care of check-in was friendly but didn’t speak any English, which proved quite challenging.

Bad stuff:
- the room lacks a mini fridge,a wine cooling cabinet is present but that does not really get the temperature to fridge levels.
- the hotel advertises(on the website of hotels.com)with free parking at the hotel.This is simply not true! Free of charge street parking is available but space is not guaranteed as we noticed upon arrival. This may have been due to some local event in the vicinity but it meant that we had to park our car at the edge of village. We advise to adjust the advertisement accordingly.
- We slept in till 10ish and noticed a person trying to enter our room.We assumed this was housekeeping although we placed the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door.We left a half hour later asked to have our room cleaned by changing the sign.We apparently missed the cleaning window as the room remained untouched afterwards.

Fantastic hotel, comfortable room, really helpful staff, good food and would definitely stop again.

Très bon séjour a l'hotel. Chambre spacieuse, propre et literie splendide. Espace piscine très agréable. Personnel charmant. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

Nuestra experiencia ha sido fantástica desde el momento en el que reservamos la estancia en O'Banel. Llegábamos tarde por la noche y pensábamos que íbamos a tener algunas complicaciones, pero no fué así. Se pusieron en contacto con nosotros previamente a nuestra llegada y nos estaban esperando siendo muy amablemente en todo momento. El lugar es muy hermoso, tiene una piscina y un patio muy romántico, la escalera es fascinante con sus muros de piedra, y sus colores beige. Muy cálido y caluroso para la fecha que llegamos en Enero. La habitación muy limpia y renovada. Muy buen gusto con lo necesario. El desayuno se destacó con sus riquísimos croissants y bolleria francesa. Optimo Servicio de parte del chico de la recepción, buen trato y bien vestido.

Volveremos y absolutamente lo recomendamos. sobretodo si estas de paso por la autopista, ya que es muy fácil seguir el camino desde allí.
