We loved the location of the hotel.
I am nothing to say here
Worst staff at the front desk. Lack of customer service. Rude. Too busy doing nothing.
Staff behavior and dated facility.
The location is great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room was very spacious with a day bed and a small table. This was great for having a takeout dinner.
We were able to keep our luggage there when we checked out to further explore the city without our luggage.

The view
Nothing I can think of
This hotel is a bit old judging from its architecture but was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable with wonderful views of the city and the river. Centrally located with many places in walking distance. The river walk was great too.
I really have no complaints especially with the terrific desk staff who helped sort though a booking problem. My thanks to Coco and Theresa for their assistance!
Close to downtown. Nice restaurant. Very close to Detroit River
Tiny, tiny bathroom
Location was great the veiw was amazing the staff that I interacted with were so pleasant
Found some stinky food in the refrigerator and some breakfast cereal spilled in one of the cabinets when checking into the room.
everything
never got my deposit
Location of the hotel is perfect for my preferences, tucked at the end of a main roadway, with little traffic around the back and none at the front, which overlooks the river front and is lovely quiet.
There are proper sliding blinds that are fully controllable with a simple up-and-down button (see photos) that make the room very dark, much better and more effective than most curtains
Beds are just really great, comfy without being too soft and squishy.
TV is big enough and allows you to log in your fav streaming service as it wipes out the login info at checkout time.
Good powerful shower and hot water temperature well judged; defogging large mirror is a nice touch.
Breakfast was good, nothing special but a basic variety of the usual (eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, yogurts, toast, etc.) and good coffee.
Reception accommodated my request of 1 hour later check out without any problem.
Some details of the room and bathroom could do with improving, like some cables sticking out of the floor/wall, which was unobtrusive, but still an eyesore (see photo).
Pancakes got instantly destroyed by the maple syrup, so some improvement needed there.
The front desk could do with more personnel.
No clear indications to lobby/front desk from the valet/drop off area, that is downstairs.
Lisa on reception was very professional, friendly and helpful. The room she gave us had a delightful view overlooking the lake. Hotel was within walking distance of eating places, the river front etc.
The lack of soap in the bathroom, tiny shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, which was enough for one, but not two people.
I drink English Breakfast tea, but only Green tea was available until we asked reception to send English Breakfast. My husband doesn’t drink decaf coffee but only that was provided until we asked for non decaf. Powdered milk sachet not sufficient, so we purchased expensive tiny bottle of milk from their snack bar. In a hotel that costs so much a night we expected proper milk be provided. Also one had to pay for coffee in the snack bar area. Should be free.
The lifts required a 10 minute or more wait as only one or two seemed to work. After a concert and a game we waited 20 minutes for a lift down to checkout on Sunday. Our Windsor Shuttle man was waiting in the lobby.
