Calm, peaceful and old-school
Pros:

This feels like a throwback - an old-fashioned family hotel. We enjoyed the spacious, clean rooms and the nice balcony overlooking the river. Great stay for our family of three.

Great place to stay
Pros:

We were suppose to have a river view room and when we arrived the room we were given was not river view. They did change it with no problem and the lady in the office was very nice about it. The room was exceptionally clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

2 night stay, very pretty, very clean and seemed very new hotel on Cape Fear River. Our room had small balcony, and if you stood and turned you could see river. Very quiet, easy check in. Just a little drive to Ferry, and to downtown Southport. Best of all was lovely lounge chairs on beach area, in front of fenced outdoor pool. Lovely to rest there. Beds very comfortable, and a kitchenette area with full fridge we did not use.

Pros:

This hotel was very clean and updated. It's in the perfect location with excellent views of the water. I felt like I was tucked away from all the crowds yet close enough to walk downtown for shopping, restaurants, etc. My family and I loved it!
