Pros:

The room was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning was also amazing! We would come back and stay again!

Cons:

We were on the first level and we could hear the people walking around above us. I am a light sleeper and it woke me up in the middle of the night.

We had a nice stay will stay again.
Pros:

It was very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is wonderful and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Not too long of a drive to visit the beach for the day.

Cons:

We had a soft spot in our floor at the foot of the bed that was a little scary to walk over. The shower could have been cleaned a little better. The pool was cloudy and could stand to be maintained a little better.

We came in as a family for a two night stay. The room was excellent with a small balcony that you could see the ocean.
Pros:

The property was quaint and clean.
It had enough traffic that it wasn’t secluded, but not overwhelming at all. The staff was exceptionally polite and nice and helpful.

For the most part the room and location were decent, but I don’t think we will stay here again.
Pros:

Property is located on the river front

Cons:

After checking in at 7:55p we went to our room and the keys did not work. Since the office closed at 8p it took 90 minutes and several phone calls to after hours staff to get someone to let us in and make new keys. Also the sheets on one of beds had dirt marks on it in several places.

Great Location & Very Comfy
Pros:

We chose this hotel for its location on the river and close proximity to Southport activities and affordability. Based on what we got for the price we paid, I was very impressed. Check in was easy and our room was easy to access. The bedding was perfect. It was clean and so comfortable. Overall, the room was very clean and had everything you could need. The “beach” out front at the river was so peaceful. The pier was very nice - the only thing I could think to change would be to add some benches out on the pier. We did not use the pool, but it appeared to be very clean as well. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends and family.
