Important information:

Please note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays (except for breakfast). On Tuesdays, check-in is only possible between 16:00 and 18:30. Guests arriving later are kindly requested to contact the hotel in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.

Between 01 November and 31 May every year the restaurant is also closed on Sunday evenings.

Belle surprise !
Pros:

Très bonne situation géographique pour cet hôtel familial. Buffet petit-déjeuner très complet avec des produits frais et locaux. Belle carte restauration et surtout très bonne cuisine.

ENDROIT PARADISIAQUE
Pros:

L'emplacement est fabuleux, le calme d'un village, la vue sur le lac. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Nous avons eu un petit déjeuner excellent avec des produits frais et de qualité. A plusieurs reprises le personnel est venu s'inquiéter de savoir si tout se passé bien. Nous y retournerons !

Pros:

The double room was big and comfortable, the balcony is a nice small bonus. Breakfast is exceptional with very good local cheese and plenty of other choices. Staff was great and took special attention to our requests. I asked in advance for non gluten options and they took care of buying very high quality non gluten bread.

Pros:

Accueil chaleureux, personnel au petit soin, chambre spacieuse, et très confortable, au calme. La vue sur le lac est un plus. Hôtel proche de toutes activités dans la région. Petit-déjeuner très bon et frais !

Wunderschöner Tage in Gruyère und Umgebung
Pros:

Sehr schönes romantisches Hotel, nette Chefin, Sie hat uns 2 Zimmer gezeigt und wir durften uns eines aus suchen, Sie half uns mit Deutsch da wir nur Deutsch oder englisch sprechen , nettes freundliches Personal, gute schmackhafte Küche, leckeres Morgenessen in schönem Ambiente. Auch der Ausgangspunkt war genial um umliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen

Die Matratzen waren doch sehr weich, und je nach Zimmer ist das Bad sehr klein, aber der Ausblick und die Freundlichkeit des Hauses hat das alles mehr als wett gemacht

Gemütliches Hotel mit hervorragender Küche
Pros:

Das Hotel ist eine gemütliche Auberge. Die Zimmer sind vintage, das verbreitet Behaglichkeit. Es ist top sauber und alles funktioniert. Der kleine Balkon, von dem man die Berge sieht, ist ein nettes Plus. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig mit viel Obst und einer grossen Käseauswahl. Es gibt eine Brasserie fürs gute Essen und einen Salle a manger fürs feine Speisen. Die Preise entsprechen Schweizer Standards, die Qualität und Zubereitungkunst liegt deutlich darüber. Das Restaurant muss einen guten Ruf haben, es war auch während der Woche stets gut besucht. Die Umgebung ist ruhig.

Cons:

Die ablehnende Reaktion einer Servicekraft auf meine Extrawünsche am ersten Abend war doch überraschend. Es bedurfte einiger Überzeugungskraft, dass er in der Küche nachfragte, ob eine leichte Änderung des Menüs möglich ist. Von Seiten der Küche wurden dann sogar mehrere Möglichkeiten angeboten. (Die übrigen Servicekräfte waren hervorragend).
