It was easy to find, clean, and like usual a great breakfast
My husband is always cold and I am always hot so an extra blanket in the room would have been nice.
When we got there at around 415 our room wasn’t ready, they told us it would be 15 minutes, we had to leave to meet family, so we told them we will be back later we had plans for the night. We got back around 1130 .they gave our room away .said the card I used was declined. But I used a different card to reserve it. I wanted to use a card I hadn’t used yet , it didn’t work. The gal at the front desk was very apologetic, and said the only room available was used, they had someone check into that room already , there was a stink in the room, so why would we want a room someone has been in and stinks , no thanks !
A lot ! Then we ended up driving home which was 3 hours away after we spent 1 1/2 hours looking for a room . There was banana ball and a concert in the area that night
Location is great, close to I 84.
No pressure shower, the mirror above sink lighting is terrible ( makeup hard for wife to do ), refrigerator full of frost…

Cleaner room
The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Everything was in working order.
Housekeeping did not get the room completely clean. Food from the previous guest was left in the fridge and trash items were left behind the dresser.
We have always had pretty good luck with LaQuinta Inn but this one was awful. There was massive construction when we pulled up but we were still hopeful. We got checked in, no WIFI so I could work, called every day to see if it would be fixed. All I got was an I'm sorry, we don't know when. Construction began in our hallway the next day. Ripping up carpet and scraping the padding off the floor, you could barely walk down the hall for all the mess, then started laying new carpet, piles of carpet on the floor that my husband tripped on almost falling, glue on the floor that my dog got in. Breakfast was mediocre at best, scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles all week. Dry cereal and canned fruit also. The room it self wasn't bad but everything else about the experience was horrible. At almost $1,000 for the stay it was so not worth it!

Clean rooms. friendly staff, reasonably priced, and conveniently located to restaurants and a Target. Only one elevator and construction going on at the entrance were minor inconveniences.

Staff pounding on my door while sleeping because I was accused of something by a "Rich White" woman.
So of course it has to be true! The fact is I was sleeping because I had an early flight to catch the next morning!
The pool
That we got a down grade on our room we paid for but still have not received our refund and the manager has not called me back.
We stay here almost every time we go to Boise it is centrally located and I can find my way around fairly easy from here.
Should be a none smoking hotel. You can smell the smoke in hallways and elevator
