The room was spacious, clean, tidy and warm upon our arrival. The beds were very comfortable and had adequate bedding. We didn't arrive or leave by the airport, but understand a shuttle bus operates for this service which would make me think of using your facility again if I was flying in and out of Wellington.
Due to the very strong wind the night we stayed, one window rattled continuously all night. When I checked on that window in the morning, the fit was not tight up against the frame - there was quite a large gap.

Colin on reception was so helpful and friendly and all the staff around the place greet you with warmth. Very good rate for the room. Lovely reception area as you enter. Large, simple, clean, airy and comfortable room. Good parking. Great location - Very close to shops and supermarket, swimming pool and library. A 5 min drive to airport and they provide free transfers. Will definitely return. Thankyou to staff.😊
Actually it was great value for money! The place is a bit tired and old school and I guess in need of a refurb but that is part of its simplicity and charm. It is what it is and does the best with what it has. The staff seem more mature and really focussed on giving great service which stood out. The
only downer was the lift wasn't working but I needed the exercise so all good!

The only issue with the room was the sink in the bathroom, has each time you used it, it took a while to drain away. If you did not keep an eye on it, water would be all over the floor.
Staff couldn't be more helpful and great service if using the airport
The staff were fantastic juggling our rooms so we could get straight in upon arrival, also they were friendly and very welcoming, the airport shuttle service made life very easy.
We were able to have a meal and gather in the bar for drinks every part of this was very accommodating and made it very easy to not have to go out to find something to eat after a big day.
The beds were comfortable, the rooms were warm.
On a historical note the rolling stones stayed here in 1965! Fun fact!
The rooms and furnishings are getting pretty tired but to expected of an old lady built in 1964, obviously some renovations had been done since then, the carpets a little stained, the paint a bit peeling we would have liked some cooking facilities for the price, however the friendly staff explained that this was because they had restaurant facilities which was fair. I definitely feel it was a little expensive merely due to the condition of the rooms.
