Perfect views and comfortable beds.
Pros:

Incredible views of the coast and private terrace area the perfect way to enjoy them.

Cons:

The Bardot lodge was looking slightly tired in some areas but I believe a renovation planned.

Akwa Hotel Perfection

Our stay at Akwa was nothing short of incredible. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and offered an amazing view of the ocean—on some days, we could even watch surfers riding the waves, which was truly special. The bed was super comfortable, and the made-to-order breakfasts each morning were fresh and delicious.

A special shoutout to our host, Alexia, who went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. From the warm welcome to her thoughtful recommendations on places to eat and things to do, she made everything easy. She even arranged for an ATV to be delivered right to the villa, booked massage sessions for us, and connected us with a great surf instructor. We genuinely felt so well taken care of. Thank you, Alexia, for making our stay so memorable!

As magical as Santa Teresa
Pros:

Beautiful simple but nice, the room is very aesthetic and clean, very safe given the private security guard at the entrance of the gated community.
Breakfast was really good!

Cons:

The entrances I a very steep hill, not much they can do about it but worth considering it for small cars

We had an amazing stay here. The room was furnished beautifully and had a stunning ocean view. We enjoyed the private outdoor space, as well as the lounge area by the pool. Breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Akwa! Alexia and Eduardo were welcoming, kind and responsive. The villa was luxurious, with minimalist design, a full sliding door that transformed the space into shared indoor/outdoor space. The private plunge pool is a game changer! The driveway into the development is very steep, but this is typical of many accommodations in Santa Teresa. You can walk to the beach and back, just prepare yourself for a short but challenging climb back up!

Pros:

Alexia was awesome! Helped me and my partner with many questions! Also booked us a taxi from Cobano to Santa Teresa and from Santa Teresa to Cobano, with timing on point! We also had rented an ATV and she made sure the ATV was there when we arrived to Akwa Santa Teresa! Definitely recommend to book for anyone who wants a chill relaxing quiet place with wonderful service!
