Very clean, friendly staff, and lovely pool.
Breakfast was a little quirky, but some people might like that. Feels like you're eating breakfast at someone's home.

Absolutely beautiful location - walking distance to the valley and short driving distance to Carmel by the Sea. Great front office service, amazing home made breakfast (above and beyond typical continental breakfast), and spacious rooms. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm.
They lit the fire pit for us when we wanted to sit there.
It was our 60th wedding anniversary. I think a complimentary bottle of wine would have been appropriate. Also, real dishes for breakfast would make a difference.
The walls are rather thin. The people next door played loud music, etc.
So comfortable and quiet. Nice to have so many restaurants within walking distance. The daily breakfast was yummy and the staff was great!

We didn’t realize we would be so far inland, but that’s on us. In the room furnishings are older and kind of worn. Bathroom is pretty dated.
