It is right in the middle of downtown Kitchener. Perfect location but parking is very difficult. We did purchase parking which you really have no other choice but it was convenient.
We found it rather cold in our room with the air ( supposed to be heat) blowing right on us. We didn't get a great nights sleep. Not a fan of feather pillows. Next time we will bring our own. Was a pleasant stay otherwise. We were not really there long enough to really experience it fully.
Lovely staff and great local transport links and shopping.
Nothing
Location was excellent.
Room very clean & spacious!
Bathroom also fabulous
In the room, there was no place to put the suitcase such as a luggage rack. There were not drawers to put your clothes/ things.
Therefore everything ended up on the floor.
Beautiful property with nice character combined with modern bathroom. High ceilings. Staff excellent!
Hard to adjust water in shower. Make sure you use the wand and point away from yourself.
Beautiful, clean and modern, very friendly staff - super central location
Parking validation is ambiguous, TV-phone mirroring system it inconsistent
Parking
The room was clean and cozy.
My only complaint was that the window seal wasn't as tight, so the room was quite cold, and we were there during the winter snowstorm weekend.
Modern decorated room which was a good size for a central hotel. shower was great but the toiletries very basic. Location was ok and staff were super pleasant. Very limited parking and first come first serve basis.
Staff
Wash basin because of water goes down very slow.
Their reservations behaviors were amazing .
Patient and kind.
We were attending a concert in Kitchener. I didn't know what to expect with accommodations. This hotel was a huge surprize. Comfortable, very creative décor, and dimmers on overhead light fixtures - another unexpected detail. We discovered the restaurant in the basement for our included breakfast, and wished we had discovered in sooner rather than going out for dinner the previous evening before the concert.
Absolutely nothing!
It was a beautiful stay!
We are at the restaurant in the basement for lunch and got coffee in the morning
All very good
Fantastic location in a beautiful historic building in downtown Kitchener. Easy access to the ion and iron horse trail. You can get anywhere tied like to go without needing to rent a car.
We were above the ballroom on a Saturday night so there was a wedding on but it was only a bit loud that one night.
Cute hotel, giant room. Very comfortable beds. Great location. The staff was attentive.
Parking was across the street, if you had a lot of luggage, it could be a haul getting it to the hotel. Also, once you're across the street, you had to step up on the curb, and up a step (or 2 I can't remember) to get into the hotel. On the floor we were on there were 2 steps to get to our room. We did not have any issues with that, but if you have mobility issues, you will want to ask if there is an easier way to get in and out especially with luggage.
