Hotel des Iris

Emplaçement central en ville, personnel aux petits soins, chambre et hôtel décorés avec goût. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner servi à table et la mini bibliothèque "Van Gogh" dans le lobby!

Breakfast was great but the AC was tempermental. The host was delightful and cheerful and helpful.

The Hotel Iris is a lovely little hotel in the center of Auvers-sur-Oise. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and very clean. The service is very friendly and the optional breakfast is nice. The price is reasonable and the location is perfect - in the heart of all the main sights. There are a few small quirks. One is that there is no one at the reception in the afternoon and evening, so you need a code to enter by a side door and to then find your room. Once we got the instructions it was fairly simple, but it took a phone call to figure out. The other quirk is that the water temperature in the shower is set to a fixed temperature. The water was warm, but not hot. It was fine for our purposes for a one night stay, but I was glad we weren’t there during cold weather.

Loved the room, as advertised, AC was welcoming as the day was a warm one, very close to sites to see, no real interaction with staff because left early for the airport, will return again, but next time on a wed through sun, as most things are closed Mon and Tues.

Lovely quaint hotel.

One one afternoon, a huge bug was crawling across my bed. To make matters worse, because reception closes around 12?, no one was around while I was screaming for assistance. Furthermore, I emailed management and they never even responded.

Hotel plein de charme. Chambre superbe, decor de l’hôtel superbe, petit déjeuner superbe. Je recommande cet hôtel à tous. Vaut le détour.

I had a wonderful stay in this clean and quiet hotel.

We stayed 2 days and everything was perfect. The initial Welcome was wonderful - very warm and friendly. We were upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost “to allow more space for the dog”. Everything was super clean. Our room was off a small and lovely courtyard garden, very calm. Generous Continental breakfast with fresh fruits plus choice of eggs if wanted. We will return.

My only complain is that we arrived before checking-time and there was no way to enter the premise, main door closed. Fortunately, there was a nice restaurant to have lunch and spend the time until checking time.

A charming hotel right across from the Van Gogh house. Rooms were very well-appointed, the bathroom was stunning, and the hospitality was top-notch.

Accueil très chaleureux dans ce petit hôtel qui fait aussi salon de thé, idéal pour visiter le château et les musées. Joli jardin à l’arrière et petit déjeuner à l’anglaise savoureux

Lovely one night stay, location great for exploring Auvers.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, kind staff, free and unlimited parking right in front of the hotel, very good neighbourhood, good bike storage options. A short and easy drive to Paris, as well as close to the train station. And they are good at searching when you lose something ;-)
