The best so far! I would definitely return.
Pros:

Everything was so lovely and the gardens were an absolute surprise. You felt like you were in Paris or Europe somewhere with all the ornate and beautiful water fountains surrounded by gorgeous flowers. We had supper in their restaurant and the food was delicious and high quality with a decent price tag.

Cons:

Not sure if the floor of the room could have used a wash or if that is just the way they are supposed to feel...I was barefoot but put on the slippers they provided. It would be nice to have a hand held attachment in the shower.

A very special birthday lunch
Pros:

I booked lunch for 9 for my mother’s 95th birthday. We were given our own private room and all of us had a wonderful get-together. The food was delicious, the mocktails were fantastic, service felt very warm and responsive. Afterwards we went out to take group photos on the attractive grounds. A totally appreciated setting for our matriarch!! Complements from all of us for the hospitality..

The Elmhurst was well worth the visit
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and facilities

Pros:

The breakfast was fantastic! There was a chef available to cook made-to-order omelets (cooked to perfection); tons of fresh fruit, a hot buffet as well as cereals, pastries etc.. Everything was delicious.
The staff were pleasant, helpful and genuinely friendly.
Although the hotel is located close to the highway, traffic noise wasn't really noticeable, inside or out. This was due to the fact that there were several lovely fountains that were not only muting the noise but also adding to the overall ambience of the hotel. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
We loved walking the well-maintained grounds, bursting with life and color, sitting in the shade by the fountains, and walking the grounds near the pond, where we saw dozens of dragonflies! The setting is truly beautiful.

Would definitely come back for future getaways
Pros:

It was the perfect getaway. Everything exceeded our expectations!

The room was clean and spacious. They even had bathrobes and slippers in the closet - I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that provided slippers. The SPA was peaceful and relaxing.

Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely EPIC. Maybe I just haven't stayed at many luxury properties, but their omelette was one of the best I've had. It was cooked fresh right in front of me by a very nice chef. Dinner was simply incredible as well.

Every staff member we met was warm and welcoming. The entire property has a charming vintage style while being well maintained.

The front yard is also beautiful and Instagrammable.

Absolute gem. We will return.
Pros:

Stunning property obviously cared for. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. The AC is a bit noisy however I would not be without it. The breakfast was one of the nicest buffet style we have come across. We did not utilize the restaurant or spa but hearsay was very positive. The staff were all very pleasant and eager to answer questions or replace the keys! we locked in our room. There are so many nooks and patios to suit the mood and weather.

Cons:

AC a bit noisy. Some body lotion would be a nice addition to an otherwise nicely appointed bath.
