The room and bathroom were large. Dinner and breakfast were very good and the chef could accommodate my gluten free requirements. The staff were very helpful and friendly

We loved the food. We had a superb sunday roast on our arrival and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning to see us on our way. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay again on our way to the airport.
Lovely hotel in the heart of cheddar. The area was close to amenities, but also not too far away from nature, where you can relax in the scenic surroundings. Comfortable beds, nice shower, friendly host and great breakfast, and we enjoyed a nice dinner in the evening too.
Wasn't much not to like. To begin with my only concern was it was a bit noisy during the day in the room. It was coming from the kitchens below, but we understood it was a listed building with old style windows, so it couldn't be helped. It certainly wouldn't stop us from staying here again. It didn't bother us that much anyway, as we were out all day and by the time we come back it was all quiet again and we were both very tired. We both agreed the room had comfy mattresses and pillows too. Nice touch with complimentary biscuits and nibbles in the room and bottled water.
The hotel is excellent apart from the dinner menu which is more pub than hotel. The food delivered was not great, being poorly cooked and unimaginably presented. The mussels were not cleaned and contained 4 shells which had not opened, these should never have been served. Breakfast was ordinary with no flair and not as described.
Having said this the bedroom was really good, large, clean and comfortable; the bathroom was also spacious, very clean with a great shower and bath.
We will probably stay there again but eat elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay at The Bath Arms Hotel and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
The pub itself is lovely and homely, with a really welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The owners were absolutely delightful — so welcoming, friendly and attentive, and they really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The food was another highlight. We had dinner at the hotel and the steak & ale pie was particularly delicious! Breakfasts were equally lovely and set us up perfectly for our day.
All in all, we had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Bath Arms and will definitely be staying again when we’re next in Cheddar!

Lovely location, it is on a busy road but it did not disturb our sleep. The bar and dining room are a good size.
The furniture was a bit tired in the room, lots of stains on the hall and room carpet. The breakfast selection was a little limited.

Security needs improving. Extra bolts/locks inside doors. Room safes for belongings. Beds were very noisy and creaky.
