Strategisch gute Lage am Bahnhof Kithal Ella1
Pros:

Sehr nettes Hotelpersonal. Das srilankische Frühstück war superlecker. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und uns wurde mit dem Transfer geholfen.

Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig mitten in der Natur. Beim Frühstück hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Ella Rock. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker, es wird jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte alles, was man braucht.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft ist etwas hellhörig. Das ist aber nur eine Kleinigkeit, ansonsten war alles perfekt.

Pros:

Het verblijf ligt buiten de drukte van het centrum, op een super mooie locatie langs het spoor. Met de tuk tuk als taxi ben je in 15 min in het centrum. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Hier begint ook de hike naar Ella Rock, aanrader om die met zonsopkomst (1 uur van tevoren vertrekken) te doen.

Cons:

Het enige om te verbeteren is airco ipv een fan of kussens in de stoelen op het balkon.

Nous avons aime la vue , l environnement et la balade à Ella rock au départ de l hôtel , le calme , la propreté, la nourriture et les petits soins , l aide précieuse de l équipe sur place … ils ont et ont service pour nous … j ai tout aimé et j étais triste d y partie … je le conseille sans hésitation

Peaceful and service minded
Pros:

If you like peace and quiet surrounded by nature, this is the place to be.
Dilshan and Raj outdid themselves to please their guests.
They surprised us with amazing breakfasts every day.
They arranged for tuk tuk when needed and we could contact them any time.
Wifi worked very well and there are plenty of plugs in the room

Cons:

A little table outside on the balcony could be helpful.

Lejos del centro pero con bonitas vistas y desayuno agradable
Pros:

No se trata exactamente de un hotel, es más bien una guest house. El servicio muy atento con dos chavales muy amables haciendo todo lo que pueden. Las habitaciones y limpieza correctos. La azotea es donde se sirve el desayuno con unas vistas muy bonitas. El desayuno muy agradable.

Cons:

No aceptan tarjeta, lo cual para los extranjeros es un problema. Está bastante lejos del centro de Ella, muy próximo a una estación de tren (no la principal) por lo que era bastante ruidoso.

Het personeel is super lief en willen je met alles helpen. Wij hadden problemen net onze taxi en ze boden meteen aan om een andere te regelen etc.
De locatie ligt perfect voor het beklimmen van ella rock, maar wel wat verder uit het centrum

Die Ruhe außerhalb von Ella, das aber auch nur eine kurze Tuktukfahrt entfernt ist. Fragt die Gastgeber nach einem Fahrer, dann kostet es weniger. Der Service war hervorragend.

Cons:

Die Nähe zur Zugstrecke und zum Bahnhof ist super, der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man den Zug hört, nachts fährt allerdings keiner, also ist das Hotel uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Fantastic hosts
Pros:

Amazing hosts, couldn’t do enough for us and helping us out with finding taxis / tuk tuks and making sure we were comfortable

Cons:

It’s a little bit away from the centre of Ella which is both good and bad! Good to be away from the hustle and bustle but you will need a taxi / tuk tuk into town

Tolle und ruhige Unterkunft über den Bergen von Ella
Pros:

Tolle Lage oben am Berg, 2 super Nette Angestellte die sich um die Gäste und das Frühstück kümmern. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag anders und landestypisch, hat uns sehr gefallen. Dazu eine tolle Aussicht in die Berge.
Ruhig gelegen da etwas von der Stadt Ella entfernt, super Ausgangspunkt auch für die Wanderung auf den Ella Rock.

Cons:

Man ist etwas entfernt vom Stadtzentrum Ella (ca. 10min per TukTuk), ist aber kein Problem.

This place is truly a little corner of paradise in Ella. Surrounded by nature, the rooms are cozy gems—spotlessly clean and equipped with every comfort. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had, and what really makes the difference are the two young hosts who run the cottage. They are truly special people! Pros:

Vista stupenda! Struttura immersa nella natura con camere nuove e pulite. Colazione abbondante e varia. I due ragazzi che ci lavorano sono molto cordiali e operativi.
Molto rilassante il suono degli animali che ti culla prima di dormire.

Cons:

Lavori nei dintorni , troppi rumori al mattino presto. Strada asfaltata ma abbastanza ripida e lontano dal centro

A true gem!
Pros:

Hotel Levon is about 10 minutes by tuk tuk from the centre of Ella in a beautiful location overlooking the hills and train line below. It is an easy 30 minute walk back into Ella along the train line. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and cooked up truely amazing breakfasts. Highly recommend a stay here. Communication was also tops!
