Modern, clean, warm hotel in a great location
Pros:

The hotel has a bright, modern vibe

Cons:

Didn't appreciate the noise of building works starting at 8am on Saturday morning. The 'welcome' at reception felt impersonal relative to my experience arriving to stay for work events in other hotels in Dublin. Conversely, the warm greetings and engagement with cleaning staff and restaurant and bar staff felt genuinely welcoming.

Location we would book again.
Pros:

We had Breakfast once was nice but cheaper options nearby.
Room was great and they allowed an early check in which we appreciated.
Bar downstairs for an afternoon drink relaxing and inviting.
Nearby good choices of eating and variety of options.
Staff team all friendly and hotel had a good culture.

Pros:

Room was very nice and well equipped and quiet. Location is close enough to walk to city center but far enough away as we wanted to be outside the crowds and touristy things. Great places to walk a block away for food and drink and groceries.

Fantastic staff providing excellent care
Pros:

I revisited the Mespil Hotel and stayed there with family members and friends for 5 nights. We were there for the Six Nations Rugby match between Ireland and Scotland. Despite being a busy weekend, we were treated with wonderful kindness, care and compassion that I have only encountered rarely elsewhere but always at the Mespil. I am from Dublin which provides many opportunities for hotel stay but none as friendly and customer focused as this one. The staff from reception, the restaurant, the bar and the room cleaning staff were wonderful going out of their way with service beyond expectations. A number of us seniors (75 plus) were helped with our technology as we downloaded out electronic tickets for the match! The bar staff were attentive professional and cheerful in spite of the huge crowd gathered to watch the matches on TV. The food was excellent; the breakfast buffer option was fantastic.
