I can highly recommend the Mespil hotel!
I'm extremely fussy.. The Kindness and Help from the staff when I needed some assistance was above and beyond!

It truly makes all the difference and That is exactly what makes a great hotel!

Excellent. Great city and hotel
Pros:

Loved the whole vibe of the hotel. I booked this for my wife’s birthday weekend. She was impressed

Nothing really. Just a funny smell in the room when we arrived but nothing to complain about

Comfortable bed, very clean room. Friendly staff as always. Great location.

Cons:

Upgraded to a superior room at the last minute. You would assume a superior room would be on a high floor with a view...but unfortunately it was on ground floor at the rear of hotel looking into an alley. Really strange and a little loud. I would not book a superior room again on this basis. Other than that the hotel is pleasant as always. We have stayed a number of times when in Dublin. I would recommend.

A family stay
Pros:

We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate a birthday/retirement. We were met at reception with a friendly smile and looked after really well. We had requested some specials for a room in the party and I never seen a display of balloons and chocolates like it. My Dad was so surprised and delighted.

Breakfast was fabulous. Id advise anyone reading to book breakfast. We had beautiful rooms, with walk in showers and we slept really well.

Really looking forward to returning to the Mespil Hotel, and recommending it more and more !

Not a king
Pros:

Booking said Premium Executive King but the bed was standard not King. When we complained about the room we got moved but the bed was still not king size. Breakfast was good.Have stayed here several times, will look around more for next time

Another 5 star experience at the mespil hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very comfortable bedrooms. Great location in dublin and highly recommended. Can't wait until my next stay. Thank you again
