Mespil Hotel

I like this hotel. It has a very comfortable foyer and breakfast/ dining area which is nicely lit making for a calm ambiance.
The staff are very friendly and professional. It is my top choice for a relaxing stay in Dublin.

Great location, atmosphere & rooms, dining, including a very comprehensive breakfast, but most importantly the treatment received by the staff since the very first moment when checking in. Special mention to Alicia who made us feel home with her guidance and advise not just for our stay at the hotel but to get around Dublin and surroundings....lovely trip.

I was impressed with everything from start to finish. Staff were always super friendly and attentive during our stay - Brendan on the check-in desk was great. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Bonus points for the Rituals brand of soaps/shampoos! I also appreciated the water station and the reusable water cartons - great idea. Location was ideal for us, right beside Baggot St where there are lots of pubs and restaurants with live music etc and about 15 min walk to Stephen's Green in the same direction. There's a taxi rank right in front of the hotel which was really convenient for us. It was about 20 min drive to Heuston station (~€20). We chose to have breakfast at the hotel which I have to say was good value for money and fresh - and there was a huge variety including gluten free/veggie and healthier options. And the coffee was delicious too!

The staff were about as helpful as anyone could reasonably expect. Fernando and the others at the front desk were exceptional. Housekeeping were acommodating and thorough, with what appeared to be a manager inspecting the rooms after cleaning. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

I recently stayed at The Mespil for two nights on a trip to Dublin with my mum. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly, left our bags and went to explore the city. When we got back our room was ready and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed including an amazing shower!
We slept incredibly well on both nights as the room was very quiet.
Service in the bar was great with the staff being very attentive and friendly.
We only had breakfast on our last morning which was beautifully cooked and a buffet available with ample options to suit all tastes.
This is the first time we’ve stayed in The Mespil but certainly won’t be the last, it’s definitely a hidden gem in the city!

The staff at the hotel are truly wonderful, warm, and welcoming. I stay here often for business and is the only hotel I will choose in Dublin always receiving a warm welcome back. Like a home away from home. The bedrooms are always spotless and extremely comfortable. Its great to see a mixture of international guests in the hotel and while its convenient for my business trips I stayed on a little longer this time to enjoy the city with my partner. Looking forward to coming back again soon

Had a lovely stay at the Mespil Hotel with family - great location , welcoming staff , very comfortable room , excellent breakfast with plenty of choices - also had a lovely dinner in the bar - will return again.
