Incredible staff and location: 4min to the train station on one side and 2min to the ski station on the other. They even helped us with the hotel car to get our luggages and skis at the train station.
Also, free access to spa, pool, hammam, sauna...
Although dogs were allowed in the room (w/ extra charge), and in the hotel lobby, they were not allowed in the restaurant, so it was not easy to have breakfast as a family. Minor issue.
Love love love the cozy vibe of the hotel. The location was absolutely excellent too - at the center of everything in Wengen. It was a short walk from the train station, the Männlichen lift is 2 mins away, and all the winter activities are within a 2 to 3 min walk. The facilities in the hotel were amazing. We especially loved the hotel bar that had a kids’ play room! The staff were also super friendly and helpful. We really loved our stay here and can’t wait to be back.
Everything was amazing, clean comfortable, lovely food in the restaurant and great service.
Nothing
I think a gym would be nice.
Der Pool war sehr gross. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Betten sehr komfortabel und es war sehr ruhig.
Fint och mysigt med perfekt läge. Bra spa och rummet var jättebra!
Personalen kändes lite oengagerad.
Vriendelijk personeel
Goed ontbijt
Spa prima
Perfecte locatie
Prijs is wat aan hoge kant
Everything was great, room, service, spa, breakfast, location (close to train station, ski lift, restaurant and shops), thank you very much!
Nothing to say, really
Breakfast was really good! There were lots of high quality options and the staff was nice. As well the staff at the reception was really nice friendly and always smiling. They also allowed us to leave the language after checkout for the whole day. They even made our bad new and brought new towels after one day even we did not ask for it - why would we for just two days. So it was a nice extra. There is free coffee, tea and water in the room and lobby, and a very practical skii room to leave ski and boots which keeps everything clean. All spa equipment is provided as well.
We went for dinner in the hotel restaurant, but it was really off. First they forgot the entry a soup which the put us behind one table that arrived after us, then after an other long time they brought our real starters. Between that and the main dish passed so much time that even a table that arrived after our starter already was eating the main dish. Then they brought two plates and non of them was what we ordered, so they took it back and obviously it took some time to redo that. But for my part i had spätzle with duck. The duck was excellent, but i had to send back this soggy, unsalted pampa of spätzle. It was gross. I got for free an other plate, the mushroom spätzle plate, but honestly they were only eatable because of the load of pepper on it, but else still soggy and over cooked. The cod of the other dish was very dry. Over all the food was mediocre and not really delicious. The mushroom hazelnut soup, was nothing special not even decoration, just a brown soup that some how reminded me at bread soup. The sbrinz cream was just an oily liquid that, with a really delicious egg in side, but a bit what ever, and the foie grass was ok. The staff was nice but we then skipped desert and tip, since it was really not a good experience.
