Close walk to train station. Lovely spa and great breakfast
Nothing
Super friendly staff at check in!! LOVED that they had the spa included. And a bar! Super cute place!
The room was very small
Very helpful staff.
Staff, food, spa
No air con! Whaaaaat!?
Our stay felt like a dream. The hotel was spotless, and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of delicious options each morning. We loved the bar and had so much fun enjoying karaoke with our kids. The pool and sauna facilities were incredible and a perfect way to relax after exploring the area. The highlight was the stunning balcony view of the mountains—it was absolutely breathtaking and one of the most beautiful views we’ve ever experienced.
Our only complaint was the temperature in the room. It was very difficult to cool down, even with the balcony door open all night and a fan running. Unfortunately, the heat made it challenging to sleep comfortably.
Great hotel and location is very easy short walk to train station. Most other hotels have shuttle services. The pool sauna and steam room are first class and no cost,
The rooms are very small, they pride themselves on sustainability so there is no air conditioning you have to lave the door open to cool the room and it got very hot as it faces the afternoon sun. Onky other crticism was the breakfast was literally the same ecery day for 5 days. Overall its a great hotel.
Superb location and nice hotel facilities
Double bed was two singles pushed together - room was ‘compact’!
Location. Nice bar. Nice people.
Very noisy street facing room with windows open (necessary) for fresh air. People on street are loud very late at night.. not considerate. What’s worse is they put ashtrays out on the balconies, encouraging smoking, which is apparently not allowed we were told. Neighbors smoked constantly and we had to smell that disgusting smell! For the amount t if money we paid, this was very disappointing!!!
Sehr gute Lage .
Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr freundlich, jedoch sprachen und verstanden sie kein Deutsch.
We stayed in one of the "Privilege Rooms" (what a name) in the recently newly decorated - or renovated or built - wing. The room is partitioned into a bedroom and a "living room" (sofa, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, NO fridge) and can be separated with a heavy velvet curtain. The room also has a balcony with views to the main street (mostly pedestrian) and the Männlichen mountain. The decoration of the hotel and the room we booked is very beautiful, especially all the bookshelfs full of paperbacks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good and the dinner absolutely delicious. On Saturday night a duo played excellent and entertaining live music in the bar.
Despite being listed on booking.com as pet friendly, dogs are not allowed into the restaurant. This was unfortunately communicated only at the entrance of the restaurant and we were accordingly unhappy and went to another restaurant. However, after asking, the next day we were allowed to bring our dog to the terrace outside the restaurant.
