Great location in Town. Beautiful old buildings everywhere. Great hôtel and restaurant staff. Great décoration. Great snacks food (hummus, sweet potatoes fries). Only downside is linked to Lebanese habit of smoking inside. It ruins things. The day they understand that this is not compatible with food will be a day to célébrate :)

Perfect

This hotel was amazing—super clean, beautifully designed, and in a perfect location. The service was excellent, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

Great vibe and great location. Easy access to so many great neighborhoods with lots of cafes and restaurants and eclectic shops. Weekends get loud but it’s part of the charm of being in the center of it all.
And everyone at Lost is great. Always smiling and just wonderful all around

Lost is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of the fun and lively Gemmayze neighborhood of Beirut. Very convenient to many other areas by foot or taxi. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but efficient. No problems with hot water or air conditioning despite the national power crisis. I don’t believe there is an elevator, so if you cannot handle stairs, this isn’t the hotel for you. Otherwise it’s a very comfortable and budget friendly hotel.

The rooms are so pretty, bed is so comfy and the location amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I love this place.

Hotel Lost is fantastic! So cozy and cute, right next to tons of restaurants, art galleries and museums, and nightlife. The staff was so friendly and took great care of me. They knew me by name before I arrived and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The bed was super comfortable, the room was very clean, and they always had espresso pods ready for me. I will be back next year and highly recommend!

Very pleasant stay

Absolute gem of a boutique hotel in the heart of Beirut! The staff, facilities, rooms, food, drink, location, were all amazing, one of my all time favorite stays!

Lost was anything but Lost. The service from the front desk, porter, restaurant was fantastic! Beautifully designed rooms! A perfect spot for wandering the cafes and shops of Gemmayzeh. Loved it. Would definitely return.

Close to many good restaurants, cafés, bars, etc..

The room was very comfortable, and full of character. The common areas were pleasant and kept very clean.

Roy and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I would happily stay there again.

Lost Hotel is a stylish Boutique Hotel located on a trendy street/area called Gemmayzeh. Its a great, hip location to stay in Beirut.

The hotel is artsy, adorable, vibrant, lively, with about 3 rooms per floor (no lift/elevator). Rooms are spacious, colorful & bohemian designs. Id say the rooms are in 3.5/5 star condition.


Restaurant/Bar:
Lost Hotel has their own restaurant & cocktail bar. And they just opened another one across the st. Great to sit for an hour before heading out. Or even just hanging out there instead of going out.

However we had a very negative experience with the bartender & manager trying to charge us for 8 drinks when we ordered 4 “Vespers” (Vodka & Gin martini’s). We had to argue with them for 15 minutes that evening which made us late for our dinner reservation. And then the following morning, the manager continued to harass & intimidate my friend while she was having breakfast that she “owed him more money”. Until she forced him to bring a piece of paper, in which she drew out 4 martini glasses & showed him the math. Then he refunded her the extra money we paid the night before.

I do not know if he & the bartender was genuinely confused or they were trying to scam tourists, but just be careful of your bill.


Security:
The hotel has 24 hour security so you’ll always feel safe. The street itself is safe, filled with restaurants, cafes and bars.

Reception staff is super friendly

This was my third time at Lost and I try to stay here as often as I can. This is the only hotel that has a Beiruti old-world charm as well as modern aesthetics. The tiny bar and restaurant are fantastic with excellent cocktails and food, including great vegan options. The location is also excellent since Gemmayze is the heart of hipster Beirut with great dining and bars literally steps away and the best coffee shop in the city sharing a wall (Sip). For all this, the staff are the best part of Lost and the reason its often hard to get a room at this hotel with all the repeat customers!
