Location and cleanliness.
Sockets in the T&B was not compatible for the hairdryer. Also, location of the sockets for the portable water heater was far.
Everything made the stay really cozy. I like how it's not a "hotel" vine but more of a lodge which felt more homey. It wasn't crowded and it was only our family having breakfast at 8am onwards.
Staff were all well-oriented, accommodating, and warm.
The room was super clean and had everything we need. The staff were courteous and attentive. We loved the hearty breakfast, also the menu with hugot lines that describe the food.

The feee breakfast meal was great.
It was noisy in the evening. We heard someone was cleaning or spraying something in the hallway that disturbed our sleep during our stay.
Rooms are clean. Good view of Taal, but you have to be by the hallway to see it. Staff are friendly, except for the time when we were just cleared after checkout and they wanted to hold us because the staff didn’t find 1 of the hand towels. I had to tell them to check the toilet floor, where they eventually found it. I told them thst was a hassle as we were rushing for Sunday mass.
There was no elevator! They booked us at 3rd lower level. They could have warned us about the flight of stairs we had to deal with. Breakfast was 4 levels up from our room.
Rates are pricey for their limited facilities.
Parking within their premises is limited. We had to block another car to park, and were warned that we may be called on from our room anytime the blocked car moves out. Alternate parking is at another corner lot, which we can’t trust to leave our car in.
Overlooking the famous active volcano Taal and the staff were lovely and friendly. Excellent staff.
No lift or elevator to take you down the stairs if located at the ground floor.
Love the property, cozy, and staff are friendly.
Views were amazing
Room was a bit tinier than expected.
We loved our stay at this boutique hotel. First, we were given an upgrade to a deluxe room which we really appreciated because at the time I booked it, the superior room was the only room almost equivalent to my free room voucher but lower than the value. Days before our stay, the deluxe room was on promo, so I'm glad that they upgraded us. Thanks to Jigs!
They even surprised us by setting up our room with balloons and flower petals on our bed. Plus they gave us welcome drinks with complimentary fruits and a cake. Again, thanks to Jigs because he took note that it was our anniversary when I mentioned it to him upon booking.
The staff were very friendly but to a fault at times though because they would check on us every now and then, when we wanted to rest already. ;-)
Special mention of appreciation to CJ as well, who was the very friendly and accommodating waiter at their restaurant and gave special service when we requested for room service.
About their room, the bed was comfortable and they have extra facilities: aside from a mini ref, they also have an electric kettle, a microwave and plates and utensils. The toilet is good enough but the bidet had a strong water pressure.
They have a restaurant with funny hugot lines on a big board, as well as their menu. We love their bibingka which was quite big for sharing. We tasted their pancit which was also good and their Filipino breakfast was also yummy.
Overall, we loved our stay at this boutique hotel.
